- Dave replies to robert| 1 replyI have just received a call from 800-945-2000 and I do NOT have an account with Chase and never have. This is an obvious scam and they are spoofing the number on your caller ID. It might be a number Chase uses but it's not them calling you.
- Too Much Fun with Scammers| 2 repliesI know that we all feel that these calls are a pain, and they are. But I like having too much fun with these. When I can get a real person on the phone, I like to waste their time as much as possible. I get them on. They ask which credit card I want to lower. I pick one out of the air. They ask me for the expiration date. "Oh wait, it is in the other room, let me go get it". Then put the phone on mute, and let them sit a while. Then they ask if I am still there. Of course I am and put it back on mute. Then after a few more minutes I hang up. Many times they will call back from a different number from a different state. I ask them if they are scammers, or just travel real fast. They don't know how to answer. I do have too much fun with these folks.
- GaryReceived a call today 11/20/15 at approx. 1030AM from 1-800-945-2000. A man with accented English, probably middle eastern, said he was calling in regards to lowering credit card rate, said his company name was account services and finally admitted to being from India (?). Then he said that account services was irrelevant and that the real reason was to inform me that a kidnap attempt would be made against me, or a member of my family tomorrow. Not much to do but be careful and prepared, probably just a bored scamster. Just for the record.

- trdsfRobocall telling me that they want to offer me a lower credit card rate. Funny, I don't have any credit cards. Pressed '0' to speak to someone and asked what they were calling about; they couldn't tell me, hung up when I told them I'd see them in court.

- BT| 1 replyPeople, what he is trying to say is that the 800-945-2000 is a legit Chase Bank number but the people who got ahold of it to call you stating they can lower your interest rates on your credit cards are the scammers. They have tapped into this phone line to make it look like Chase Bank is calling you. I got the same call. I hung up on them, I called my credit card company and they assured me that they DO NOT call people to talk to them about their interest rates...

- Robert RocchioI get this scam call weekly telling me they're going to lower my interest rate when I have no debt. It is always a foreigner India or Pakistan I suspect calling.

- Kevin R MortensenReceived two calls with no one on the other end. Received call record on my phone shows 800-945-2000. Called the number back, received the Chase Bank auto system asking for the 16 digit account/card number. I do not, nor ever had a Chase Credit Card or any other type of Chase account. Agree with the others, this is a phishing scam.
- Caller: Scam
- AnonymousI answered the phone and they instantly hung up. This usually is the first red flag that it was an automated call(computer) for a scam. Please be aware, this is a scam. The number shows up as Chase Bank, however, it is NOT Chase Bank. This is just a cover so they can prey on the gullible. Chase Bank would NEVER contact you via phone and just hang-up when you answered or not leave you a voicemail if you missed the call.
- Caller: "Chase Bank" (SCAM)
- JonScammers have spoofed this number (800-945-2000) and are trying to obtain your credit card information by saying they can lower the interest rates on your credit card(s), I play with them, give them bogus information and let them talk as long as possible then ask them if they think i am a fool along with calling them a few nice names. Sounds as if they are from India or ????
- Caller: Credit card services

It may say chase card services, but it's not. Call the number on the back of the card, tell them about it .. Chase documents every single call and email they send or make.

Why the F*** should I pick up on a Caller ID that is a Unknown, me (my #, my ID calling me), blocked, a city etc. Which when you don't leave a message proves the point of not picking up in the 1st place. - srobocall from 800-945-2000 caller ID said "TOLL FREE" on FRIDAY 12-18-15 @ 347 PM.
