phone call comes in, leaves a message, calling for someone who does not live at my address, no company name identifying themselves.  I called them back and the phone rings around and then nothing, no answer, no leave a message or anything.

Allied whatever has been calling me for at least three weeks. It is a recorded message, so I never get a chance to inquire about it. Most annoying, because I have no outstanding debts, and never have had. What can be done about it, if anything.

I am sick of calls in my private residence from this number.  It is always automated from Allied Interstate and it is always automated.  They keep calling for someone who does not reside at my home.  When I tried to press to tell them this, they kept asking for that person again.  Annoying!

They say they are from Allied.  No information other than to call them.  They have called pretty consistantly in the last couple of days.  I looked it up and people are reporting it is a debt collecting scam.

I filed a complaint on-line with Ohio attorney general (www.ag4ohio.gov). They have called every day for about two weeks. Generic voice mail of a collection. I have no late bills; called back number and mailbox if full.

If you call the number after hours, you'll get a voicemail box that says something like "You've reached the number for Exelon . This mailbox is ful..." If you call during business hours, the OGM tells you that its a number for a utilities debt and if you have paid it or you're the wrong person "we're sorry." In short, these guys probably bought a lot of bad old debt for pennies and want to to try to scare you ito paying it off even if it's time barred or not your debt.

I received a call and message that said this is not a sales call please stay on the line - I did and then it disconnects. Called back and said they are from Allied. If I ever get them I will ask them to send proof of the debt.

I have been called in N.C. From Allied Interstate Utilities of Ohio every day for a week. I have left a voice mail to stop calling. This is going to be reported to the N.C. attorny general for harrising phone calls.
For now I just go into the voice mail box and Key In Numbers. If ihit one I tell them to stop calling. If not I run up their bill on the 800 account.

I Used the BBB website to track 800-955-3103. It comes back to Allied Interstate. 3200 Northline Ave. Greensboro NC 27408.  This is a scam of some type.

Says they're from Allied International, a debt collection agency.  They've been calling my cell phone every day for the past 2 weeks, leaving messages about an outstanding debt.  I have no overdue debts and only use my cell phone for emergencies.  Think this may be some kind of phishing scam and wish it could be stopped.

I JUST got a call from them. I got really scared and started thinking about what I could be in debt for, and then I read this and it made me feel a lot better haha. It happened right after I downloaded some music to my phone from flycell.com, but it wasn't from their number so I'm not sure.

I continue to receive calls from 800-955-3103 but when I pick up the call no one answers!?  I will no longer accept any calls from any 800 numbers!  I am on the "DO NOT CALL" list for all the good that does.  I also understand this number belongs to Allied Interstate who buys uncollected debts.  I have no uncollected debts and always pay my bills on time.  This is nothing more than harassment and someone needs to stop it.  But, from all the messages I am reading no one is taking any steps to do so.  Why?

I received early morning call from this number - didn't answer - didn't leave a message. Based on the identity of Allied Interstate mentioned on THIS site - I look it up. Here's what consumer debt care web site reports:

Allied Interstate is a collection agency which has made its presence felt through all sorts of wrong reasons. It has become a regular phenomenon for Allied Interstate to violate Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the set of laws governing the guidelines for collection agencies.

Some of the common malpractices and harassing techniques used by Allied Interstate are:

       * Calling family members, relatives and friends of the debtor and threatening them over phone.
       * Making calls to the debtor on a regular basis without prior permission.
       * Wanting to settle debt issues without documenting it.
       * Using abusive languages while interacting with the debtor.
       * Allied Interstate have made it a practice to contact wrong person and who actually don't owe any money to anyone.
       * They review credit reports without any prior permission from anyone.
       * Allied Interstate make threatening calls to a debtor throughout the entire day up to 9 pm.
       * They also have the tenacity to harass a debtor throughout the whole year.
       * Allied Interstate will call you without leaving behind any contact numbers or email address. The only thing they leave behind is their mailing address which again is doubtful in many cases.
       * Follow-up with C&D (cease & desist) letter is absent.
