Ashley from Capital One Wanting to reduce your interest-rate to 1.9% this is a scam Capital One has not made phone calls like this  I have received two different Connecticut numbers asking to call back the same one 800 number

Ashley from Capital One. I qualify for a rate reduction based on my recent payment history. Except I haven’t had a Capital One card for like 4 yrs. Guess I know that my information was taken in the data breach though.

This will be the only notice you will received and this offer is only valid for three business to.... This message was left on my husband's phone, but I have a Capital one account, not him!

I got the same massage i believe it's a scam i been getting all kind of phone calls and massage from all different people's i guess my identity have been taken in the data bleach

So glad I Googled the number and found your messages. Who KNOWS what other info they have on us! I will report 8009694345 as a Scam number!!!!

I, too, received the exact same call. My phone caller ID showed 781 area code, which is Massachusetts..used to live there.

Just received a call from this number with a voicemail saying the exact same thing that everybody else has said it said. I thought it seemed a little suspicious considering I just got the capital one credit card so I don't have a payment history yet and decided to look up the number and saw all these people saying it was a scam glad I checked before even bothering to try to call them back. besides the fact it didn't show up as an 800 number at all it showed up as a local number.

This is a call to fish information. Definitely not legitimate. If you call the number you will be connected to capital one customer service department like they have call forwarding.

I received this same call. I don't have a Capital One credit card and have never had one. SCAM. Report to your attorney general  at once.

I got the same call/message.  I question/Google anything concerning my credit cards.  Especially when they ask for "additional information" and they insist that you call them Directly at the Underwriting Dept. (NOT Capital One)!

I received a voicemail saying they want to reduce my interest rate to 1.9% but they need more information. If this was really my credit card company, they have all the information they need to do that as they can raise your interest rates without contacting you. Also the voicemail asked me to call a direct line within the company which doesn’t seem likely because a legitimate call from my card company will instruct you to call the main phone number for the company and tell you which department to go to.

I just received such a call and I do not even own a. credit card. I don’t fall for this stuff because I refuse to own a credit card.

Say they want to lower my interest rate for my Capital One card. I don't have a Capital One card. They say I will only be called once and the offer is only good for 3 days. I've gotten the same message every 3 days for weeks. I block any call that isn't in my contact list then look up every number before returning the call. So many scams it's disgusting.

Its a scam. They said they would lower my Capital One interest rate but I don't have a card.

Got the same voice message from "Ashley" with instructions to call this 800 number however, the number on the caller ID was 210-899-0952. Definitely a scam. Blocking the number
