You could send the company a cease and desist letter (there are many templates available on the web).  Send it certified mail/return receipt/signature requested.  Once you have proof they have received this, you can keep records of any violations and sue them for harassment.  

If they were legitimate, they should have mailed you a debt validation letter proving you owe this debt and to them.  If they refuse to MAIL you this documentation showing original creditor, amount owed, date of last payment, this shows they do NOT have proof you owe the debt.  They cannot "trash" your credit since the debt is so old.  If you do notice something on your credit report, you can dispute this with the credit agencies.

Could you please give me a copy? I all of a sudden starting receiving phone calls from them and they said I just recently paid them 15.00 and I still owe 200 something from 2012!!  I don't think that they have the right person.  I cant pay something that I have never been billed for.

This is a collection company that are absolutely the rudest people I ever spoke with on the phone,I was in the hospital with no job or insurance had to set up a payment plan and I did,I was just calling for a balance and the man literally screamed at me for my social security number was asking me if I lived in this state and that state what my mothers name was which she is deceased,what my maiden name was,I said all I want is the balance on my bill he yelled again give me your social security number or I ain;t helping you he hung up,Then I called back and told the lady I wanted to speak with a manager I explained what he did she would put me right thru and OMG it was him again he was rude and said I had no account there give me your social security number,I called the palos hospital where I was at and they said thru Radiology is private Dr;s nothing to do with the hospital billing they hire independently there collections.I have had nothing but problems even getting them to send my statement that's why I have to call in and this has been going on for year and half of rudeness where if they would send my statement I would not have to call I have even sent certified requesting my info and still nothing only rudeness.

This is a collection agency then I came across this ad they have to along with these numbers 800-969-4523 also 779-774-7296 they also have been reported on the collections part thru the better business burea,they are all very rude.Margaret Fitch and Andrew Twyman are president and vice president,there a collection agency but also have a ad for credit careds probably then so they can get all your info and sue you for a bill or harass you

I have been called by this outfit every day and they are looking for my daughter, not me.  I know that my daughter owes AT&T money but since she developed a medical problem, her employer wouldn't take her back, then he went bust 6 months later, she can't find work because her medical condition is still ongoing.  This debt collector, which is a division of that giant monopoly AT&T refuses to believe this and since her phones have been shut off, they are pestering me.  I get robocalls every day from these crooks every day and I have consistently demanded my phone number be removed from their database, but, as is usual with AT&T, they ignore me and continue harassing me even though my daughter hasn't lived with me for over ten years.

I hope someone out there starts a class action lawsuit against this damn outfit and us victims get some peace and quiet from them!

Once again I got a robocall from ATG credit about a debt my daughter owes AT&T.  I have used the option to remove my phone number from their list since my daughter hasn't lived here in over 10 YEARS, but ATG still keeps calling me.  Finally I called them back and demanded my phone number be removed from their database and the woman simply hung up on me.

Will someone out there start a class action law suit against ATG and demand a HUGE settlement from their corporate parent AT&T for all us who have had to endure the sleazy tactics from ATG.  I'm sure AT&T could afford a big settlement for all of us.

I get DAILY calls from these SOB's for a debt that my daughter owes AT&T.  It doesn't matter to them that my daughter doesn't live here and I'm not responsible for the debt.  When I call them to have my phone number removed from their file, they simply hang up on me.  Will someone get an attorney who ISN"T afraid of AT&T to bring a HUGE class action lawsuit against these SB"S???.

THIS NUMBER HAS CALLED MY JOB AT LEAST ONCE OR TWICE A DAY FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS.  THEY ONLY LEAVE AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE,  I HAVE BLOCKED THE NUMBER AND THEY STILL KEEP CALLING.

THEY LEAVE A MESSAGE AT MY JOB PHONE. JUST STATING THAT THE MESSAGE IS FOR ME.  I HAVE TRIED AND TRIED TO REMOVE MY WORK NUMBER FROM THEIR DATA BASE BY DOING WHAT THE MESSAGE SAYS BUT IT NEVER HAPPENS

If they are calling on your cell# - I just key them in as a contact but label it as:  Do Not Answer and put the ringer on silent for that specific phone number if you have a smart phone.  If home phone, I would re-sign up on the Do Not Call list again.  It would take a month before it takes effect....some answering machines have the capability to Block numbers for you.

Please stop having representatives from this phone number call me; there is not business here.

No one from 800notes is calling you so we can not stop your calls!!!  This is a forum to list scam numbers.  Purchase a call blocking phone or contact the calling company directly.

Never ending phone calls.  Even when you talk to them they continue to call.

They are constantly calling me six times a day.

I have been getting calls from this number for about a month.  I let them talk to my voice mail since their message says to push #2 if you are not the person they are calling.  By that time my voice mail kicks in so I could never get to that number.  Since reading the msg's on here it wouldn't have done any good anyway.  They ask if I am C Wilt.  I am not that person, do not know that person, am not a relative of that person.  Anyway, I just put them on my phone's reject call list so I will have to see if they call on another number or not.  I'll just put them on a reject list again.  I did wait til their recorded msg. came on and said that they are ATC Credit and are trying to collect on a debt.  Either way, it isn't me and a big waste of my time.  BTW, they are not calling on my cell phone
