So then this letter has nothing to do with you, at least according to the law as previously described.  Interesting that you failed to reply to me and posted this way in the hopes that the post would not be seen.

This isn't a review site to dispute the nature of CitiBank business or express your opinions/disappointment of it, its to warn others of unwanted/unknown callers.

See where this is going  "Citibank Business Customer/Alisa is correct"?  You should always call the official published number to ensure its the bank your talking to and not a scammer....End of story.

I see there are some Shills haunting this thread - Be careful folks.  The shills keep trying to convince people that every call from this number is from Citibank.  Numbers and names in your caller ID can be spoofed.

I have called the number 800-986-5706 3 times over 2 years (2018 and 2019) and it was a legitimate Citibank number. Both times it was in response to a KYC (Know Your Customer) request. I had bad customer experiences (I spent hours providing detailed personal financial information multiple times) but it was legitimate - Citibank confirmed their identity to me, followed up with secure email and eventually lifted a hold on my accounts.

They cslled me saying are  citibank and I have my profile with wrong information that I need to fix. So Citibsnk send you letters or email you. I told him that I will go to a branch thst I know and fix it personally. Hunh up after that.

Got a scam call today and scammer left a msg asking me to call the 800 or for international call the number from the back of the card. These guys are getting crafty.  Keep in mind they are targeting folks in the US so most will think its a legitimate call (as the caller said for "international" check the back of your card) Most ppl will miss the international part and think  its legitimate, as they said to call the number on the back. I called citibank directly using the toll free number on the back of the card and they confirmed no call from citibank and they have raised a case with their security dept. The concerning part was they knew the original branch I opened the acct decades ago so there been  some form of data breach or someone working with them at citi.

I had my doubts so I called to the number in the back of my debit card i checked and rechecked that those two numbers are citibusiness KYC legit numbers. But as another user said before, those numbers in the ID call can be change, so I advice anyone that receive this type of emails to call to the number in the back of your credit/debit and ask them to directly connect to that sector and then you can check if it's a scam or not.

Just received a call from this number asking me for my full legal name and other confidential information.
