Received two phone calls. When answering machine answered they hung up. On third call, within an hour I answered the phone, said I was the police, that there was just a murder here and wanted to know how they knew the victim's phone number. I said I had their phone number and would persue with their local police department to find out who they were and how they knew the victim.

801-618-2020 PCR called again yesterday evening it seems at the same time. I answered and the woman on the other line asked *May I speak to a young virile male in the household? We are doing research* I told this person, *Absolutely not! I can assure you there will not be anyone in this household who will ever speak with you, and we are on the National Do Not Call List, do not call this number ever again!*  They are pests.

when I cqll back get msg. that this # has been disconnected or is no longer in service. how is this possible if the caller is making calls from this # to my optimum voice phone? I'm also on the do not call registry.

have gotten calls from PCR in past. it went on for several months until i put a *57 tracer and filed w/ 516 annoyance call center. howevwer it's starting up again 2 calls in last 2 days - no msg. - phone doesn't ring long enough for voicemail to pick up. when I answer quickly, no one at other end!

If i recall, from research i did last time this happened, I found out that PCR contracts w/ political candidtes, charities, organizations, etc. to do surveys, polls, etc.
they need to be stopped from invading people's privacy!!!

Getting one a night this week; Last night woman asked if she could speak to the man or woman of the household; She sounded very shaky in her voice, like she was very nervous; Sounded very unprofessional, too. I told I was not interested, please don't call back, have a nice day. The next day I was not around, but the caller ID was on my phone; Tonight the same caller ID came up, so I answered with a firm 'Hello?'...Could hear office background, asked even firmer 'Hello?!?' and they hung up...tried calling # back, got message saying # doesn't basically exist. Very annoying, will pick up and hang right back up when I see it's them.

Several calls to my cell phone-- which is on the Do Not Call list.  No one there if I do answer and they don't stay on long enough for answering machine to kick in.

Multiple calls. On DNC list for over a year now. www.DoNotCall.gov is useless - like our politicians are.

I received a call from what my caller id says pcr with number 801-618-2020, I'm about to report them to the fcc.  Anyone else who gets calls like this should do the same.  Let the fcc know that there is companies/people going around the dnc.

Received a call today from 801-618-2020, answered and they did not hang up but they told me that they had the wrong #.

Phone rang twice.When picked up only dial tone.Caller ID gave me this nnumber.

3 calls received from number in 3 days. when answered, nobody is there. calls were: 9/9/07 @ 5:08pm, 9/10/07 @ 5:18pm, 9/11/07 @ 7:00pm.

I keep getting calls from this number 801-618-2020.  Three calls today.  Two yesterday (Sunday.  I am on the National Do Not Call List.  I thought whoever this is, they weren't supposed to call.  The first few times I answered but no one was there.

So far I've had 2 calls on my Verizon cell from this number, Monday Sept 10, and Tues Sept 11, haven't answered either time...also on DNC list

Rec'd call from this number on my cell//went to voicemail, no msg left//called back, number is disconnected/no longer in service... hmm...

Have gotten 2 calls from them, no voicemail - calling at various times. When I call back it says the number is not in service. This is a verizon number

got this number on caller id (landline, not cell phone), they just hung up as soon as I said 'hello',  googled area code for state, then phone number and Utah, found this forum.  Somebody should forward this thread to the PCR company in case they just got a goofy employee doing this to everyone.

getting this # calling every couple days for last 2weeks, no messages (as well as another no name 3-4times a day for same length of time)...

I just called Pacific Crest Research at #801-627-6340 and asked how they got my number and they said it is randomly computer generated. They wouldn't take me off the list until I gave my name which is pretty annoying but hopefully this will stop the calls.

Yup, got two or three calls from them tonight.  Read the posts here and called them back at HQ -- 801-627-6340.  I asked if they had been calling me from 801-618-2020.  They said yes.  I asked to be taken off of their call list.  The rep was very polite and said that I would be removed.  (Now we'll see if it really happens!)

BTW -- a note about the Do Not Call list.  Not sure what the current law is, but a thousand years ago I had a job when I was in high school doing product surveys on the phone.  (Honest but boring stuff -- what brand of paper towel do you use, which gasoline brand is your favorite, etc. etc.)  ANYWAY... for some surveys they would give us just one phone number, and we would keep adding a one to it each time we dialed -- (XXX) XXX-1234, then (XXX) XXX-1234... 1236, etc.  This meant that we occasionally dialed people with unlisted phone numbers, who wondered how on earth we had reached them!

1-801-618-2020 Rang my home phone twice I got online right away to check on the number. Called 801-627-6340 They finally answered after about 20 rings. I asked to be put on the do not call list gave number was told that they were sorry and I will not be called again. I told her that there is no reason for a company to be calling someone 10 minutes to nine and hanging up after just two rings. If your company was ligit you would stay on the phone but you must not be. And that there are several complaints regarding your agency online and she hung up. I am also on the do not call list and just recently updated it since it was close to expiration.
