Tired of gettings calls from this number. They won't leave messages on the answering machine and if we actually answer the phone they hang up without saying anything. Getting to the point where we'll have to call the police with an harassment complaint against them.

The caller asked about insurance companies.

I tried to get my husband off the phone, but, unfortunately, he wants to be "nice" to people and would not get off the line.

There was no call placed to my house. I am actually one of the fortunate employees that gets the joy of working for P.C.R. I see a lot of people saying it is unfair for me and my fellow employees to be calling you for your opinions to try to develop better services and product for all consumer.i see a lot of people referring to the National Do Not Call List. Well just for the record , and the unaware The National Do Not Call list does apply to telemarketers, or solicitors. And technically since we are not selling anything the law does not apply to us. if anyone asks to be put on our company do not call list me and the other reps would be happy to arrange that for you. But for everyone to sit here and slander us is very immature. And if you don't want to do the survey all you have to do is say so. And no being ignorant to us is not necessary. We all have jobs and families to support. We do serve a purpose.

and file a digital complaint against the company. since i have no way of telling the to go f themselves this is the easiest approach. enough of these and they get a hefty fine.

do not call list does not apply to market research. look into it before you start talking about something you dont know about. also if you dont want to do the survey instead of just hanging up wait till they say it is not a sales call and ask to be put on thier do not call list

They are calling Canada *because* you are on the do-not-call list.

The result of adding my number to the Canada Do Not Call list has been a dramatic increase in calls from out-of-country numbers.

That's the trouble with registries like that. They are just invitations to the unscrupulous.

Get calls from this number frequently. I don't answer calls that I don't recognize on my caller I.D.

Got a call from this number.  Caller id said PCR.  Called back kept getting busy signal. Got through once and recording that number was disconnectd

I tried to call but it said that the number was disconnected or out of service.  I filed a complaint q/the FTC using the complaint form on the Do Not Call Registry.  Hope it helps

They call my number every evening every day!

Got a call from 801-618-2020 on 09/10/2009 at 6 pm. Did not leave a message, however when I went to call back on this number to have me removed from their database I got call could not be completed as dialed, and has been disconnected. This is a fraud company and should be fined to the fullest extend of the law.

PCR 801-618-2020  Receiving this, "uknown caller", etc calls constantly every day. Nobody appears to be on the other end when I answer, and no message ever left.

What can we, as citizens do to stop this type harrassment.  It's so annoying and this, aside from booming television commercials now (extreme level of volume) - it feels like unwanted "guests" constantly barging into the front door!!  if anyone knows any tool we have at our disposal to stop this, please post!   My phone company says they cannot even Call Block.  grrr

I agree with what you have posted. Most people do not realize that the sureveys are for improving political and professional services. I work at Pacific Crest Research. Simply hanging up is the rational approach. This is what most people do. As for the obsessions they have with not answering unidentified calls. There is some risk. I would hate to think I was screening out a call from a hospital emergency room about a relative involved in an accident.

Got a call from this number last night.  Answered and no one was there.  Caller ID only gave a number no name.  And to the person decided to be holier than thou about the calls that are exempt from the federal do not call list.  Get over yourself!  The exceptions will not be allowed when the law is re-vamped.  When we sign up not to be called we bloody well do not want any MFer we do not know or do biz with calling us PERIOD.  End of conversation.

Reviewed some of the other posts and found some info that should be helpful.  If we all start calling this jerk at home every time his company calls us, he will go underground or make sure we are removed from the call lists.  If he can harass us, then turn about is fair play as far as i am concerned.  The info is:
