last night i was doing some research when a what ever you called it flashed onto my monitor saying i was #999999 and the winner of a lap top, i x'd it out and 3 more screens flashed on telling me i pick an offer, i kept x-ing them out and finaly i shut down my puter and restarted it, i finally got rid of the damn thing. well, today at 6 a.m. my phone rings, a recorded message tells me the person i'm tring to reach is speaking to another person, ... hey, i didn't call anyone.... finally a live person gets on the line and i asked why they were calling me and who were they and finally how did they get my number, they said i looked for them on line and requested information from them! i said i did not and for them not to call me again. since then i've gotten 3 more calls and each time i told them off, tomorrow i report them to the phone company and the bbb and i'll do that each time i see these 800 #'s on my caller ID I don't answer my phone anymore, i'm tired of telemarkerter's calling and i'm fighting back.

Yes, they called. And again. I picked up, they asked me about my plans after high school. They recommended Kaplan(?!) and directed me to a website www.classandcareer.com or something. Also told me that someone from Kaplan would call me. I asked where they are calling from. They said it was a career institute. Very polite... We'll see.

One on One Marketing.  American Fork Utah.

President is Nicholas Greer (either at 434 W. 100W in American Fork or some address in Lehi Utah)
His home phone number is 801-492-4350.
I talked to his wife, Deborah Greer today (called them at about 7 pm tonight).  This is a valid number.  Deborah is the secretary of the corporation.

You might want to call them at their home number to help them remove your numbers from their call list. (of course, only at reasonable times.  No 3am calls, of course.  That wouldn't be polite)

They're lying if they told you they got your number from "somewhere."  Our number is unlisted and we give it to NO ONE, and they call us several times a week.  I haven't picked it up since we have caller ID.  How annoying.

This is not who I am but who you think I am.  Tell me why you can call and call and call, but your callers will not give their home phone numbe.  I believe a class action law suit may be way over due.  Being nice did not work, howling, did not work, asking for the callers home number did not work, so, calling back does not work as you *(&)$^#%#$&* jam your phones.  I am one of many many many complaints.  All of these are on my cell phone.  I believe the states attorney general will be very interested in this site.

I have received calls from this number 3 times already. There is one time I have answered it and the guy on the other line was offering something and was talking so fast but I cut them off and said I am not interested. BUt still, they kept calling me on my cell phone even to the fact that I told them I am not interested of something they are offering. I want this to stop please

I am the VP of Sales for One on One Marketing, and the calls that you are receiving are from our call floors.  The calls are actually coming from a sister company that we own, called The Career Institute.

First of all, let me apologize for any and all annoyances that are being caused by our call floors.

Second, let me explain why we are calling you.  We provide education leads for several of the top online universities in the country.  We are simply calling you to verify and confirm your interest in taking online college classes.

The only reason that we believe that you have an interest is because you responded to one of our offers that say,
"Earn your entire degree online!  Click 'yes' to speak with a counselor from one of the top online universities in the country.  By selecting 'yes' you will be contacted by a specialist from the Career Institute within the next 24 hours"

We give our "offer" to third-party vendors who try and drive traffic to the offer.  Almost always, these third-party vendors will offer a free incentive to people if they are willing to take a survey and look at a lot of different offers.  Our offer, about online education, would just be one of many different offers.

Like I stated above, before we actually submit your lead to a university, we call you first to verify and confirm your interest, as well as, make sure that you meet the universities' minimum requirements.

Now, we call all of our leads twice a day, up to 12 times.  The first 4 calls are coming from one of our call floor that is hand dialing the leads.  This floor lets each call ring 25 seconds before moving on.  The last 8 calls are made by our other call floor with an automated dialer that lets the phone ring 21 seconds.

If you are not interested and would like the calls to stop before the 12th attempt, then you can do one of the following:

    1. Answer your phone and tell us that you are not interested.
Our call floor reps do not even rebuttal.  We simply say, “Okay great, have a good day.”

    2. Call us back and let us know that you are not interested.
My team that takes inbound calls will say, “I will take care of that, have a great day.”
Please note that our reps are trained to pick up and say, “This is _______, how can I help you?”

    3. You can also contact my assistant.  Her name is Tiffany and her email is tiffany@cilearning.com.  Simply include your phone number in the body of the text with a subject line of “Please Do Not Call”.

    Thanks!

My research shows they are using several numbers in several locations like 801-642-0240 from Utah, 805-567-0153 from California, 954-849-6428 from Florida all about "online continus education". They are really on my nerves calling. 3 calls today despite me telling them to remove me. We'll see what happens as this is very annoying.

just some info about one on one. I work for this company for a while and i am reading all of your comments about them so i figured i tell you about them. when you fill out a form on the internet weather it is about online classes or some survey at the end it will ask you if you want a rep to call you about it. if you click yes. someone will call you. also if you take a survey over wall mart to a baby survey that also puts you into the call list. if you are on the national DNC. IT DOESN'T MATTER!! IF YOU CLICK YES THAT REVOKES YOUR DNC. so try to tell some one that your are going to sue them isn't going to help your situatoin. and we don't leave massages because we want to talk to you directly over the phone also because we know a lot of people wont get the massage. So if you aren't interested just let the rep know and we will take you off. it can take up to 48 hr to get you off. so if you do receive more calls just say you aren't interested. Another thing is we aren't the only ones who have your number there can be up to 8 different company's calling you it's not just us. and another thing if it shows on your caller ID that one on one mark is calling you that is the person who hands all the DNC people and other people that have problems. He is a very nice person and he will call you back and take care of the problems as best he can. i hope you have a better understand of what we do and that were only trying to help those who want to higher there education. thank for reading.
