When I answered, recorded message prompted me to enter 9.  This connected me to a human.  Credit card consolidation scam, when I asked what company the caller worked for, they hung up on me.

I got a live person and it is a consolidation scam and they hung up on me. how can you stop these calls?

When this number called it connected me with a live person and when I asked what the card company was--the person hung up.

They called "about my credit card and lowering my rate" when I got a live person and told them I have no credit cards they hung up.

This is a total scam. They work off a list that has your phone number not registered on the Federal Do Not Call List. https://www.donotcall.gov/. Register if you have not already.

Also when I tried to call the number back it is a bogus number and gives you a busy signal.

They called me and I kept asking "what credit card" could i lower interest on as I dont own any lol. They would answer me and replied by saying they would add my name to the future call list and maybe by then I could figure it out what they wanted.

I have asked these people over and over to stop calling me. I finally filed a complaint on them after them being so rude today. Go to the 'do not call" registry and file complaints. Maybe if enough people do they will stop these harrassing calls.

when i got a live person i politely asked to be put on their do not call list, the man asked me why, i replied i dont have any stupid credit cards, he promptly replied that i needed to watch my mouth and stop using foul language, lol, I grew up with sailors and oil field hands, so i gave him a lesson on what is foul language, at which point he hung up,,, amazingly they called back today, i hit 9 for live person but was not connected :( would of loved a round two of lessons

Been getting these calls religiously for about a year now - sometimes comes up as a different number, or private call on the caller id - i always click 9 to get a live person and always get hung up on lol - there are two people living here, and neither of us has ever held a credit card of any kind lol

I am registered on the Do Not Call list and they still called me! How can I make them stop?

Plz stop calling....more than 3 times a day...

Got several calls over the weekend from this number, when I would answer there was no response.  Finally a call came from this number and I got a message about lowering credit card rates.  I pressed "9" and asked that they take me off their list.  I was promptly hung up on.

I got this call on my cell phone!  This number IS on the National DNC registry!

I get a call from these people at least once a week. It's a different number - different area code - each time. I don't see a way to escape it. I am on the do not call list and have been for years. Doesn't shut them up. Sometimes I press 9 and set the phone down in front of  the TV so they can get as frustrated as I do.

The old "this is Rachel" recording is back. I've been getting these calls again, from all kinds of numbers, this 801 number today. I pressed 9 to talk to a live person (Cathy!) and tried to string her along to get a company name, postal address, anything. She kept pressing me for information, and when I asked how I could get them to quit illegally harassing me, of course, she hung up.
Come on FCC, Attorney General, whoever, whatever supposed deterrents you have are NOT working.
Get with it. I've had all of this I'm gonna take.
