Just received a call & now that I'm thinking about it I almost got scammed ... The lady picked up & said my bill was late & they needed my credit card # which I gave them cause the # came up "discover financial" but then it got interesting »» we pay our discover card bills at our local "K-MART" we went the day before & their computers were down ... Ok went the next day & again their computers were down finally the next day they weren't ... But back to the call » she said if "RIGHT NOW" I give them my bank routing # & account # they would set me up for automatic payments ... When I said to her "I have to think about it" she said she would wait for me to talk with my wife .. I said I can't make that decision my self … she said I have to do it right now ... & if I called back she couldn't take the $70.00-some dollars off my bill she kept going on & on about doing it right now … so I spoke up & Sadi to her this sounds like BLACK MAIL & HUNG UP ON THE B¡TCH ...
So they got out of me my address & account # so now I'm calling discover & requesting a new card & # ... Don't be fooled by theses JAĆKÄŠŚËŠ THEIR ( 801 ) # is not a "TOLL FREE" 800-888-877 # it is a scam to get your info don't do it...the # came from Utah ...   Be wise hang up & call the # on the back of your card ¡

UPDATE » I called 800-discover & they told me that IN-FACT this is a scam !!!!  It's not their #. Don't give any info out to anyone calling EVER just hang up & call the # on the back of your card I'm glad that they only got my name & address & I didn't give them my bank info ....  Don't be stupid ... My card has been canceled & I have a NEW ONE COMING ....  Again these guys are bottom FEADERS ... Lower than a SUCKER FISH … give then NO INFORMATION. AT ALL…… call the man a [***] or the woman a [***] & hang up !¡!

These bottom feeders are still at it 5 calls a day for 3months. I do not have a Discover Card. nor late bills.Calls start at 8:30 in the mornings until 9 at night. The number must be spoofed. Never leaves a message and I am not calling them.

We get calls from 801-902-2429  constantly. We have had a death in the family and this is a real annoyance to us. Please put a stop to these people claiming to be from Discover. I am ready to report them also to the FTC.
