This call claims to be from the Offical Headwuarters of the VIP Membership for NASCAR.

Call is from Richmond, VA.  Search says they're on E. Broad St between N. 9th St and N. 10th St.
 
We did give info out at a race once & it's non stop calling daily from here & their satelite offices & daily on them as well for 3-6 VIP NASCAR calls daily.  They don't know how to take the hint no when you tell them either.  They want you to call 888-836-7922 for more info.

IF YOU RECIEVE A CALL OR MESSAGE FROM 888-836-7922, IT'S A SCAM! NO LIE!! IT IS A LEGIT COMPANY HOWEVER THEY CHARGE TRIPLE OR QUADRUPLE WHAT THE MEMBERSHIP AND MERCHANDISE ARE WORTH!!!!!!!They left a message stating that I had been "selected" to "review" nascar's only vip members club "risk free", and with that I would recieve $300.00 worth of nascar merchandise. I called back and the man on the line said "is this Jennifer?" Wow!! He knew my name and had all of my info-OTHER THAN-my credit card #. They needed this to cover the shipping charges for my "free" merchandise which included a jacket, hat, and poster of pit road. The charge was to be $9.95. I was informed that I would have exclusive track access including pit road and the garages. I would get 100.00 in nascar cash, magazines etc...BUT if I wanted to opt out of the magazines I would have to call another #. Also, I would be charged $59.95 for the 1st months membership and then if I decided to keep it I would be billed 2 more payments of $59.95 monthly for 2 months. Thats $179.85 for a 1 year memvbership to the nascar members club. I went to nascar.com and found I can sign up for $84.00 a year!!!!!!! In addition to that the $9.95 shipping fee for a total of $189.80 and I'm sue +tax! They also asked if I wanted to add my husband and it would've cost the same for him!!! The total for both of us would've been $379.60 We could've just gone to nascar.com and paid $168.00 minus THE HASSLES!! I then checked online to see if they sent me my "welcome" email-they did'nt. Then I saw these complaints and, afraid, I called my bank! They had already charged $139.80!! I immediately cancelled my card and reported it!! DO NOT FALL OR THIS!! GET IT CHEAPER AT NASCAR.COM AND DON'T GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!! IT'S A SCAM!!!!!

I do not know if this measures up to much but I took a call from a representative of the Total Gym calling from the same telephone number. My assistant informed me that she had called earlier but did not want to leave a message. When I finally spoke with her, she was totally professional.

This message is for the die hard media synergy group employee! What's your name?Why aren't other of your freinds helping you out on here? Your company must really be desperate to have to call the same people over and over again crossing your fingers that when we call we will fall for your scam!

Obviously you don't say your first name and last name and address, unless my name has been changed to "hey guys" without my knowledge.  And you wouldn't know what race I went to since I haven't been to a NASCRAP race since 2003.  And if you are calling on behalf of the "official NASCAR Fan Club"  (which I doubt)  then that makes them equally culpable for the violations of the do not call registry.

Very nice.  Do your employers know how you address potential customers.  I guess they will when I email them to check out this site.  

And as I stated earlier, I do NOT attend NASCAR events ( I hesitate to dignify them by calling them races).

Said they were from NASCAR, talked about all the free stuff I would get, who i wanted to meet, etc.. Only later did they disclose the $50 they'd want later on... total scam..

See your hounding me with :Cheap Tickets dot Com" robo calls and I've had this number a couple years, no one here gas asked for the calls and your CEO's "excuse" is someone else must have "mistyped" a number somewhere and put in ours.
Problem with that - Your still calling after  being informed.
The fines are coming your way because the States are now working with the Feds. It's a new day in Washington and Ah*les like you are going to be regulated and fined out of business now.
Me, I'm working to get your boss some jail time to go with it along with the folks that record the calls and run the machines.
Enough is enough.
By the way you are now getting a bill for $120 for each call that I have to delete off my machine. You agreed to it, the last time you left one.

Got a call claiming that I was eligible for some reduced fare trips.  I did not recognize the company name which was Cheap Trips.  I asked them to place me on their do not call list but the person kept trying to sell me stuff.
