They called and hung up.

Received three calls. Each time no one speaks, and you can hear what sounds like running water or machinery running in the background. After two minutes or so the number hangs up. One point, I hear blip twice on each call that makes me believe that it is some type of recording tape spliced together to form a loop.

Appears to be a debt collection number.  This number showed up on my caller ID, although the message they left asked me to call a different number, which is posted on this site as possibly being Discover Card debt collection.

Got a call on Sunday at 9:13 am. They left message: call me, I am home.
This is not their first call, I have several more in my "collection". Would like to find out who this is and block the number. Is very annoying!

Its funny that all you are reporting weird things from this number.  A quick google search would tell you that it is T-Mobile USA's voicemail number.  Its how to access your t-mobile voicemail from anywhere in the world, and its also the place that receives your messages when you ignore or miss the call.

I just got a voice mail from this number and it was a man groaning.

I recieved a call from this number last night I had my phone off when I turned it on this morning it showed that I missed a call, and I had a voice message, I have like others a few numbers that I press to check my messages, I have never used the above number. anyways, mine was just a bunch of noise, and a raido in the back round, like it was someone on a cell phone perhaps driving down the road. I have read what some of you said, above and this is NO debt collector.

WOW! I received 3 calls from that number last night. I only answered the first time and there was some gal speaking a foreign language and calling me boy. i shut off the phone and she left 2 voice mails. It sounded like she was around a huge bunch of poeple. pretty darn weird

This is a t-mobile voicemail number. Normally if you get a call from this number it is either that the paging service on your t-mobile voicemail got turned on or is a simple error on the t-mobile voicemail system. Any messages that you j
hear are voicemail messages from your t-mobile number. In this case if unwanted you should contact customer care to get them to fix it.

I got my cell phone in Dec 2007. Maureen from Public Storage, Medford is calling my number asking for a Victor Perez who apparently owes money. They requested he contact 1-866-444-4747 to make a phone payment. I have received three calls thus far. I tried the 866-444-4747 and it is a payment line only. Unable to make contact with a live person.

This number called me last night, and left a message in a weird voice saying just my first and last name.  Nothing happens when I call back.

Changed the SIM from my T-mobile phone to a different one for testing.  The new phone worked and showed a voice mail message.  The message consisted of at least one repition of a "re-direct".  That's the three tone sequence you hear when you dial a non-existent number:  "BOOP BIP BEEP I'm sorry, the number you have dialed is no longer in service. Please <yadda <yadda>> <yadda>..."  I did not try to listen to the whole message, so I don't know how long it went on.

I did not delete the message, since I wanted to see it on my phone.  The message did not appear on my phone when I re-installed the SIM and powered on.  A previous message from yesterday was still there.

I believe I got one previous call from 805-637-7342 with this same behavior - the message evaporated on its own after my wife listened to it, describing it as a hang up.  That was stressful; she thought it was an old girlfriend.  I couldn't get the message back to prove otherwise.  Now I think I can make my case...

1-805-637-7243 is the same number as 1-805-message which is another way tmobile customers can check their voicemail from a landline I'm guessing everyone seeing this number appear on the phone or phone bill are tmobile users call 611 from your handset and any tmobile customer care rep can verify that it is the voicemail number also if you look at your bill you will notice the letter code beside the call then look at the bottom of the page for the legend it will also confirm this is a voicemail number for the last entry about loseing a number from your phone you should register for my tmobile which would have allowed you to see the number you called (it shows all unbilled calls as well as you last 3 bills)

I looked at my phone bill and apparently my step daughter is calling this number for some reason.  Can you give me any insight on this?  Thanks!

These jerks called my cell phone at 6 am...reported them to DO NOT CALL and our State Attorney General AND the FCC

We are reporting it because WHY would they call my cell phone at 6am??????????????????? I have had my cell phone for 10 years and NEVER have I received a "call" from this number!!!!!!!

This number is from Public Storage and their toll free number to call to complain is 1-800-906-0879.

I recieved like 5 different calls from this #.  All calls lasting less than 1 minute and no message is being left if I miss the call.  This morning I got the call at 6:15.  I just called T-mobile to verify the voicemail # and they told me the last 4 of the voicemail was NOT I repeat NOT 7243.  Don't konw what to do with this now, but it has happened about 5 times now to me.
