- Mad!!I got this call just a second ago. Call the operator and have them run this phone number. I have T-Mobile too. Pacific Bell and AT&T used to pull this crap when we had a land line. Just added extra charges to your phone bill for no reason but to make money off people, hopeing you won't notice a few minutes here and there. REPORT THEM!!!!

- Belinda FryerReceived a call from this number at 10:33 am, 15 Feb 2013. Do not know this number or person who called. Did not leave a msg either, as we did not answer the call.
- CindyI call number 8056377243 to check my friends voicemail and it says my friends number is invalid so i hang up call right bk do it so i can leave em msg without calling and it works WHY DOES IT SAY MY FRIENDS MAILBOX NUMBER IS INVALID WHEN I KNOW THATS THE CORRECT NUMBER?
- EdieI got a call too-automated message asking me to press 1 to verify my card number. Didn't do it-here's why: T-Mobile already has it, so they don't need verification, also I just paid them last week so I owe them nothing.
This is most likely a scammer spoofing the voicemail access number to steal money from your account. Some visitors to this site recommend blocking it, but then you won't be able to receive your voicemails, so I think it is better to just delete the message.- Caller: Scammer spoofing T-Mobile

- K6 replies to RRI kept getting voicemails from this person 2!! A few times I heard someone speaking Chinese and they kept saying to call back. I Don't even know anyone who lives in California!! Also, another time I got a voicemail w/ the same #, but it was a recording of me Andy friend talking.
- AngieI got this call yesterday. I didn't even hear it ring. It went right to the call log. I am also with T-Mobile. Have been for years. A thousand minutes and 500 texts with 2 lines for 49.99. Locked into it years ago. Has anyone else reported this to T-Mobile? They cannot do anything about it unless you report it.
- Tracfone UserSo - if what everyone is saying is true, that this number is the number for TMobile call back center to retrieve our messages, and yes, that sounds plausible, how is it that this number can be the call back retrieval number for Tracfone users? It's my understanding that TMobile and Tracfone are two separate cell companies. My cell phone is bare basics and I received it recently because I qualified (low income) for a cell phone. The cell phone is a TRACFONE. So - is this number 805-637-7243 used by several different companies??? That doesn't seem quite right. Did TMobile buy out Tracfone?
With my cheap LG cell phone (not a smartphone) with basic services, I am unable to block any numbers at all, and each time I receive unwanted voice messages or texts, it uses precious minutes that I am allocated per month.
By having to call back to retrieve the messages, it eats up those minutes for useless calls where I hear nothing but air. Today - it was four in a row left as "voice messages."
Just wanted posters here to know that it isn't just TMobile customers who have to use this number to retrieve these non messages. - JanetI got 2 voice messages to call back. However, I have a prepaid Tracfone so why was I getting a T-Mobile connection? I called back the first message number but the speaker was totally unintelligible and garbled. I deleted that message and, behold, another one today which I just deleted. I haven't a clue what they wanted because the transmission was laughable.

- JoelThey call and start to talk [***]
- Florida SmackmouthThese calls are annoying and I finally stopped answering my phone, just let it go to voicemail. Usually they do not leave messages. I have worked at a telemarketing company and these type of calls used to come in regularly. We discovered that most of the time they were coming from the inside lines. They were manipulating their phone stats and the calls would come in more often at the end of the month, and or the first of the month. They were trying to make their business model look more successful than it actually was. So T Mobile could be playing the same game, as all of you have T mobile. They use up the minutes quicker for more sales, force you to get blocking devices, and it definitely brings up their call volumne for the monthly reports to stock holders. just saying. ps I did not work for T Mobile, my company had much bigger fish to fry.
- Annoyed! Some scammer trying to sell something. Came in to a Tracfone cell phone when I turned it on to text. I rarely use it.

- DJKI get calls and text messages from this number on a regular basis. They've even called at 3am and I've had enough. I put a call and text message blocker on my cell. Maybe everyone here should blast them with phone calls and they wouldn't be able to even use their phone! Yes..No?
- Caller: T Mobile
- RSKI got this today, and I don't have T-mobile. I just got a new phone and carrier this week, so I'm wondering if maybe whoever is calling me is mistaking me for someone else. I don't really have any intention of calling back, since T-mobile doesn't have a reason to be calling me. Hope it's not a debt collector calling for someone else, though.
- RSK replies to JohnDude, this isn't even my cell phone service carrier. It's not my voicemail number by any means. I have a pay-as-you-go plan that's not offered by T-Mobile but by an independent company. So don't be calling people names.
- anongot this number while porting from tmo to net10 (AKA tracfone).
net10/tracfone rents bandwidth from tmo and other carriers. Tracfone/net10 don't own towers, never erected any, don't maintain them or upgrade them etc b/c they don't have any. oh wait then how do they transmit calls etc.? They don't. T-Mobile does, because tracfone/net10 rents bandwidth from them. Then they rent the service to you.
If your phone's frequency settings are t-mobiles, yet you have tracfone or net10 service...your message number is likely to be t-mobiles, since you are using their network through tracfone/net10. they don't own any equipment and it would be dumb for them to setup a whole new messaging service. Get it?
if your phone's frequencies are att&t's etc, well you're probably not on this thread wondering why tmo is calling you. you're on another thread wondering why ATT&T is calling your net10/tracfone (they do the same with ATT&T).- Caller: tmotracnet10fone
