Got a call from this number on my cell phone while at work, but was not able to answer. Not sure how they are getting cell phone numbers!

Same scam, next day, new number, and now calling my cell phone! I think the number really belongs to someone, but the scammers are spoofing it. I've noticed that the spoofed numbers tend to show up differently in my caller ID. I feel sorry for whoever the number really belongs to!

Immediately hung up on me. Unable to call back. Got the circuits are busy message.

This phone number called my 7 year old sons cell phone.  He knows better than to answer his phone unless it's a name stored in his phone.  I'm pretty sure my son does not own a car!

Received a call on my cell phone. This number belongs to Kim Griswold in Michigan. Recording says they have tried to reach me about warranty on my car. This is harrassment and it needs to stop.

Same here.  Same recorded message.  Hit my cell number.  How?  Don't know.  I'm on Verizon.  Anyone else?

Hit my cell @1635 CDT, AT&T. Getting calls daily from unfamiliar area codes. Bout ready to throw the danged thing away.

just got a call from 810 742-6219. I'm on virgin mobile.

i got a call to at 2:28pm PST... no vm.

Just got a call on my t-mobile cell. I couldn't reach it in time. 1-810-742-6219.

just got the call...I didn't pick it up...I came to this site on google.  I feel better now!!  Thanks guys.  I get these stupid calls all the time.

I also just received a call from this phone number at 4:44pm CST I didn't answer since I did not know the number and it left me no voicemail. I got online to check it out before I would call it back but, from the sounds of it it seems like it's some scam if it is trying to sell a car warranty??? I didn't get a voicemail so I don't know but I just want you guys to know that I also do not own a vehicle.  So something shady is definitely going on with this number, like many of you I also would like to know how the heck they received my cell number which is also unlisted. Also as James up there said I also tried googling the number and also got this:

It definitely weirds me out and hopefully they don't know additional information about me, especially if they are up to no good...I am going to see if I can't find more but I don't think I will be able to. Hope this helps!

I got it on my home phone!!

Got the call at 12:01 PST.  Just a, "note to self" for anyone out there. I find it best NOT to answer ANY calls from OUTSIDE your area code. 9 times out of 10, if it's someone important, the person will leave you a voicemail.

Personally, I let all these out-of-state calls go to my automated answering machine, and the calls have decreased TREMENDOUSLY! So, I recommend not answering those calls.

Called my cell phone. Recorded message: "This is the SECOND notice that the factory warranty on your car is about to expire..." I cracked up, then hung up. LOL, the factory warranty on MY car expired many years ago. And there was no 'first' notice. Do they just dial random numbers? Sheesh!

Received a call from this number at 3:45 this afternoon. Did not leave a voicemail. When called back, a busy tone is heard.

Got a call from this number @ 3:15 pacific time \\ I did not answer but I should have to give the ol' Kim a hard time! == Then again, I wonder if she is a hottie?  Probably a 40+ year old lady trying to make a buck -- can't blame her in this economy...  Regardless, telemarketers should seek other employment.  -marty

I just got home from a long hard day at the office, and I'm excited to grab a beer, sit down on the coutch, and  listen to the new CHRIS CORNELL solo CD called "SCREAM." (I've been waiting for this CD for almost a year!)
I should have turned my phone off though! Because this Kim/Car Warranty clown calls and disturbs my peace of mind while I'm trying to relax and hear the album... There's just no manners in this world anymore.
