I am glad I came here to search out who this number might belong to. I don't know anyone in Michigan, particularly in Lake Heron, don't own a car, and have no earthly idea how they got my cell number.
I hope you find out who this annoying caller is and somehow put a stop to bothering people and using up our cell minutes to do so. - jldI seem to have had an experience similar to many of you. I had ignored the call since I was busy at the time, and they didn't leave a messgae. When I tried to call back I couldn't get through and a recording said that the number was not valid or had been disconnected. Glad I looked this up since I do know people in Michigan and I thought it might be one of them who'd gotten a new cell phone.
- AmayaI received a phone call as well. Thanx for all of your messages; now I know not to waste my mins by calling them back. Cursed scammers...
- RBGot a call a few days ago from 626-207-9175 warning me it is the last notice that my warranty is expiring on my car. I pushed 2 to stop the calls. The number has been connected to Digitcom, a marketing service. Now calls are coming from 810-742-6219 with the same message. I got a person on the other end with a heavy Mexican accent. These calls are made to my ATT cell phone and not my home. Other people in the office with ATT cell phones are getting the same calls.

- average joeok people, here is my conspiracy theory: could it be the phone companies are behind this, trying to rack up minutes on your cell phone by making frivolous calls that sound like they're from another business? the car warranty thing being just a ruse to throw you off? Has anyone spoken to a person at the other end? Why not next time they call, make believe you want to extend a warranty on a ficticious automobile and see what information they are after. If it leads nowhere maybe I'm right. If they try to get credit card or personal info then they're scammers for sure.
- SKG| 2 repliesSCAMMMMERS.....yes it was on my AT&T Cellphone. Funny enough when this number was on verizon, I never got these calls.

ID.... this was a fax machine sound when I picked up the phone.... - psReceived automated call to my cell regarding vehicle warranty. In recent weeks I've been receiving nuisance calls regarding vehicle warranties almost daily to my cell phone. Each call originates from a different number.
- sally replies to N.A.I received one of these annoying calls yesterday. And I, too, have such a "mature" vehicle that I seriously doubt any manufacturer would still be tracking it for recall purposes. What's up with this type of telemarketing ploy?
- what?? replies to What car?| 1 replyJust got a call from this number at work, but didn't get to my phone. Busy tone when I called back..! Thanks for the posts, now I know!
- FuryI just got a new ID at the BMV about 1 week ago. This explain why they called me. Since the BMV is giving out the number that is. (they never asked and I never signed anything so I think thats a lawsuit, sorry BMV)

- JCReceived call on cel phone. pressed 1 to be transferred. Outbound call center. Talked to "rodney, dave, and Aaron" each claiming to be the floor supervisor. Requested the corporate address of the company doing the calling. "Because of security purposes, I'm not allowed to give that out."
I notified them that they were calling on a cel phone AND that this number was listed on the do not call list. "How are you exempt from FCC regulations?"
"Sir, I don't believe we are operating outside of those rules..."
When the last one came online, told me "he" was the supervisor and asked what I wanted, I told him. I said I seemed to be geting the run-around, and that the longer I was on the phone, the longer my complaint to the FCC would be. PLEASE give me the address.
"Sir, I have your # as ########, I'll put it on our do-not-call list. Have a good day." and hung up.
Tried calling the # back, and got a person the first time! Told her what I needed, and she transferred me to a recording of "the # you have reached has been disconnected or is no longer in use". Calling subsequent times, it rings, and then someone transfers it to a recording of either a fast busy signal or the message above.
Obviously they are ignoring FCC rules, and are scared they got caught!

- An Attorney from Manhattan, NYScam to knowingly collect people's private legally protected confidential info or identity to use or collect intel all under the guise of car warranty telemarketing & sales calls from # belonging to a KIM GRISWOLD of 1263 Adams Rd, BURTON, MI 48509 (Wife of Chevy Chase in "Nat'l Lampoon's European Holiday"...). Also they use other #s including 806-785-6596. Ex-telemarketers seem working together here specifically using DoNotCall.gov #s to uh, call. They called 4+ times on one mobile alone in 2 consecutive days with calls or VMs in both computerized & human voices usually in the AMs. Never say if you have a vehicle or not, nor any other information.

- Wants to be left aloneI have been getting calls from 1-810-742-6219 for months! They started calling me on my cell sometime last year and I just got a call on my phone at WORK! It's unbelievable that these people get all these phone numbers. Is there anyway to make it stop?? What the hell are they trying to sell or scam? If Rick actually spoke to someone, then what's the point of it all?
