I just got a call from 813-000-0000 Florida.  She said they were updating our free internet yellow pages ad and wanted our business hours.  Got disconnected before they finished

Got a second call from 813-000-0000 Florida.  About a free internet listing on pagelink.com.  I did find us there, with outdated information.  There's something you can upgrade to for 39.95 a month.

just got the call from this number first on my cellphone then about 6 hrs later at my home number.

both calls were silent.

How do I stop calls from this number 813-000-0000

Calls keep coming - no one is there dead silence - why??? stop this company, very annoying

There was a lady on the other line this time. She ask for me by name. When I asked who she was she whould not say unless I verified it was me. I told her tell me who you are and I'll decide if I want to talk to you. She just hung up on me. Now I just block there number.

I just got a call from this number.  Picked it up and it sounded like someone was there, but no answer to multiple "Hello"s.  I shouted to put me on their do not call list, but sounds from this blog like I have a long week ahead of me.  I work from a home office, but my 2-line desk phone also rings when someone calls my home # (rare-friends text or call my cell).  So, this is not OK.

It began this morning at 9 AM. So far two calls, the one at 9 and another one at 10 AM. Last time I had a situation like this one in which a number with just the area code and a bunch of zeros began to call day and night I contacted Comcast about the harrassing calls and they stopped. I will wait for a while and if the calls continue I will contact COMCAST about it. By the way, I am about to drop my home phone service because of the number of calls I receive from these unknown people on daily basis. The fact that I am on the DNC list and that I file almost daily complaints with tha FTC does not help. The "credit card services" and others keep on calling on daily basis.

This is a number used by the US Government. In my case it was USCIS. They are not allowed to leave messages so if you don't answer they won't talk.
