These are desperate times...and unfortunately people in those situations will do ANYTHING for a ray of hope. And I have to admit these guys are GOOD. They are clever and sweet and seem concerning until you start questioning them. But I guess they wouldn't be good scam artists if they were all "salesy". I got a call today...they claimed to be GE CAPITAL....which is a real..reputable business.(which wasn't too out of the norm since I have recently been looking into a small bus. loan for my Non Profit Company) I cross referenced the number and it checked out. I went to the BBB and looked up the company and the phone number associated...EVERYTHING checked out and they even gave them an "A" rating. I was just about to fall for it, as they were only asking for a hundred loaded on a green dot money pack card. They claimed it was to verify that it was in fact you- and not someone else pretending to be you, committing fraud . And that they would refund it back to you as soon as the wire transfer was complete, and you did an inquiry on your balance. The guy even said when I questioned him, "If I was going to rob you I would have asked for your account information" . Something didn't sit right...and I knew it was a scam...So thank you all for this site. Saved me $100 bucks. I sure hope this is the end of the story.  Good luck and Happy Holidays!

This company is not a real company...it's clearly a scam..they also called my bestfriend with the same bullsh*t!!! He ended up shelling out a lot of money...im pissed off for him...they don't know what they do to innocent people who really need help...this is so sad...

They did the same thing to me.  The caller said his name was Alex and also Ryan. They told me that I was fully approved for a loan up to $6,000 they told me that all i needed to do was pay the processing fees of $100.  They mentioned they could not withdraw from my checking however they would reimburse the $100 back once loan processing was completed and my loan was deposited into my account.

I am filing a police report and I also reported this to the FTC - Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection.  They stole my $100

I cant believe i was going to go through with something like this.i have got a couple loans from online ckmpanies that were legit but this one " g e money bank " ckaimed i was APPROVED for 3200 bucks and i was going to go do it tomorrow aftornoon before work with all the money i have and figured i would just google it abd see what kind of info there was about ge money bank but wow guess moral of the story is be careful what companys you deal with.

Wow smh...like everyone else here i applied for a loan online and these people called me verifying all my info bank name social etc...i was approved for 3k and my payments would be 200 mthly for 12 mths but he asked me to get a green dot moneypak load the money and call him by hearing this i was furious and said " if i had 200 what the hell i need a loan for' he hung up. Two days later he calls back i gave him the number to  the local 911# and he continued to call me and whats sad he actually called me at 2 am enough is enough they should be caught because someone vulnerable will not think due to there situation.

This is some jacked up stuff.... I applied for a personal loan and this number called me and said I had been approved for a personal loan of 3,000 and that I would need to purchase a vanilla reloaded network pack of some sort and put 60.00 dollars as a insurance for my loan... I was shocked told him (Thomas) that I had never heard of that and he went on and said some other stuff so i goggle GE MONEY and Called them after a long wait I spoke with a Manger and told they dont offer personal loans which requires you to purchase an insurance.... So long story short Thomas and who ever else is a dam Scam.... But it makes me nervous because i really did apply for a loan, and now these b*****ds have my information.... the number they are calling from is 347-565-7601 out of NY

NY, USA this is the number that came up on my collar I'd on my phone and I wasn't too sure on this whole ge money bank thing I was about to do everything he asked the frist time mister "Nelson" called me he even went as far as telling me his business hours witch was 7 -5 mon - fri and I did give him my routing number before I realized everything was a scam cause he left me a voice mail a 8 and I was just like I thought y'all closed at 5 -_- but to any one that want to feel free to call that number it said the first time I tried to call back that the magic jack provider was not able to come to the phone but now it says something about ge money bank I hope I didn't [***] up thanks every one this site has really helped a lot I just hope I didn't [***] myself over the first time I talked to oater Nelson

Do you have a number for Mr. Williams?  I am a network admin and I am mad as heck that I allowed myself to get taken by these characters.  I have compiled a list of 10 numbers they use so far all from the east coast.  They are VOIP numbers from a company called Windstream or FDN communications.  I am sure with a little additional effort I can find these guys.  The issue is the company is based overseas so we may never retrieve our hard earned money but we can put a Whole hearted effort to stop these guys
