There is a number that frequentlt appears on my phone, (347)501-5184. They claim to be someone from GE Capital saying that I have been approved for my $3000 loan that I recently applied for online. First off, I have not applied for any loans and it is my job issued cell phone that I have had for 3 years. Also, they keep referring to me as Michael Meldrum, which is not my name. I answer usually and tell them, I am not Michael and you have the wrong number but they continue to talk, totally disregarding what I just said to them! The calls started early 2013, but stopped. Then within the last week they have started back up, calling about every hour from 8am, until I turn my phone off at the close of business hours after 5pm!!!

As a newly divorced single mom who had her credit ruined I had the same scenario with "George".  Unfortunately I wasn't smart enough and he has $700 of my money "on hold" with my loan amount which will be released as soon as I raise my credit score 250 through them for a cost of $393!  I told him forget it I don't want the loan I want my money back.  He insists that he can't stop the loan hold.  I have gone to the police and filed a report there and with Green Dot and the FTC and will call the Attorney General tomorrow.  This may not get my money back but I hope they find these people and give them what they deserve!!

I've been getting calls everyday for a week from 6463950367. I've told them to stop calling that I did not apply for a loan yet he keeps calling. It's always the same number and the same guy. When I call the number back same guy answers the phone and knows who I am without me having to tell him any information.

I  called  general electric  company  and told  them  ge bank was using there name  and  scamming  people, he said to hold on and he  would  check on it,  when he came back he said ge bank  was  their bank.  they took  over bank of Georgia that worked off an  island on the  east coast,  how  can  we  close down  G.E..  I  quit  buying  any  of  their  products, but they go under different  names

I got a call from a guy this morning claiming to be from GE capital bank. He told me his bank has approved between $1000 and $10000 in loan for me. I have been applying for auto loan likewise on a car shopping so i receive several calls lately. But this guy who claims to be Jack sounds so suspicious in his thick Indian accent. I went online onto GE capital bank and that seems to be the very first time i saw that website meaning i never applied to that bank for any loan. Prior to hanging up the call, i asked for his phone number and he gave me the same number he called from without any extension, then i begin to suspect that something fishy is going on. He could not even confirm my identity before he told me that i have been approved for the loan. I just want to put it out there that this guy is a scammer and no one should fall for him....Here is his phone number. 512 541 2146..When this number calls you, you can rather pick and never fall for his trick or ignore it.

How long they be open up and all the people they took money from everytime i go to c.v.s. im going to see my self buying a green card sending them money now today why the money is not in my account because my credit code w is low and there is a red flag on my social security card. I agree - sue them.  But it is ridiculous to say that GE "let them use" their symbol.  Would it be your fault if someone forged your signature and stole your identity?  Would you have "let them use" your signature?

305.749.7741 total scam i did not apply for loan from GE Capital Retail Bank and there is no such place...wanted to loan me $25,000 @ 17% interest...i accepted with totally bogus info to keep him on the line...what a dumb a**..i used a movie star's name and he did not catch it...also gave him address in one state and city and zip from another...dumb a**...someone needs to stop this for those not as street smart...

How do you get these people stop calling. I feel like I'm losing my mind. They have been calling three days straight, at least 30 times a day. They haven't gotten any of my money but have threatened me that they will. I just have no clue how to get them to stop.

Did they attempt to take anything out of the accounts.  They called me and after I gave them my info, I said I want things in writing before I give you anything else of my info.  They said they can not.  I said then cancel it.  He said I will cancel and hung up.  They have my acct info.  I caught on right after.  GE Capitol would have it written for legal purposes.  I called my bank and told them.

407-505-6486 Florida Call said they were from GE Capitol.  Did the same thing as mentioned above ( below).  After giving them my bank info, I asked if I could have it in writing all the information. They said after I get a money pak card they will.  I told them to cancel everything if they don't have it in writing and I am not interested.  Now they have my info. I called my bank and we are waiting to make sure they are not trying to take anything out and bounce my account.
