Shill, you are truly disgusting.  You know nothing about me, but yet you want to point the finger at me.  I was legitimately trying to get the scoop on this company.  I have over 2,000 FB friends, and posted this on my wall.  Thanks to a few of them, I NOW know that this is truly a scam!!!  So shove your assumptions about me where the sun doesn't shine.  Jerk!!!

Curious -- has anyone gone to the 90 min. presentation? Sure the seminar is a complete scam but is the gift package legit? How much in extra fees did you have to pay? We know an older couple who does these presentations just to get the free gifts. They don't do it often but they said as long as you are not stupid enough to buy what they are trying to sell ya, the company has to follow through with their offer. We are honestly considering doing this. Is this legit?

I just checked the BBB under Vacation Tours and they are not a member and have 5 complaints against them.  I had checked under Simplicity Travel before.  I guess they keep changing their subsidiary companies names so it won't show complaints.

I'm wondering the same thing.....if people have actually gotten to take the trip.  My husband and I decided it wasn't worth the hassle of wasting our time to drive there, which is about 65 miles from where we live, and go through a bunch of hassle not knowing if we actually get the trip or not.  Now I would do it, if I knew for sure that our out of pocket fees might only be a hundred or two hundred.  I just don't think my husband would go along with it. LOL  I do think they have an obligation to follow through on their promises or they could be arrested for fraud.  I just think they are being tricky in how they are wording those promises.

Something else to think about.....if people are actually going on these trips, don't you think that this company would have references verifying that?

I would consider going and sitting through all the bs if I could walk out with the gifts (cruise and airfare in my case) without paying a dime at the seminar.  I've been to one of these before and it's exactly like previous posters describe.  I walked away with a voucher for a hotel stay but ended up never using it to know if it was actually legit.  Has anyone actually used the cruise and/or airfare tickets?

I just got off the phone with a guy. I recvd a mailer that said final notice.I was curious about it b/c I know for a fact that I had not recvd anything from them before. I asked how was my information obtained - his response was less than impressive and completely inaccurate. I called him on it and he quickly came up w/ the free promotion response which was not believeable. I asked why the mailer didn't have anything on it to indicate the name of the company. He didn't respond. I quickly got online to do some research-I wasn't surprised to find all of these postings. Oh well......It's sad to know that there are people out there that take advantage of others. SAME ON THEM.

I received the letter offering the free cruise and the free airfare, I called and they promised the world and set up an appointment for the 90 minute presentation. I knew it was too good to be true, so I hit the internet and found all of these posts that this was indeed a scam....Thanks Everyone

Thanks everyone.  I knew it was too good to be true.  I was cautiously hopeful and called and got the same spiel everyone else has cited.  Went ahead and made the appointment because I figured what the heck.  Then started checking the internet and at first found a Simplicity Travel out of New York that looked very professional and I was hopeful that maybe they might have a satellite office or something in Texas.  Yea, right.  But then kept searching the internet and came across this site.  As soon as I saw the phone numbers posted in this forum (877-547-7304 and 877-313-3326) with all the same info in my mailing and questions asked, etc., it became very clear I was in for a scam.  Thanks to all of you that have posted similar experiences and saved me the one hour drive and the 90 minute headache.  If you have to mail in a voucher with a payment to get your tickets and/or cruise, then it isn't free then is it.  I'm smart enough to know I would never get anything in return.

Almost fell for it. Sopposed to be there in Indy in 3 hours, started researching a little late, but found this site. Called them up to say I can't make it and they asked for my last name. Then she said I wasn't in the computer and needed my address again.

"We'll just leave it at that You guys are a total scam. Con artists" I said.

She didn't even deny it. She then said, "If you don't give me your information we can't delete you from the computer and you'll get even more calls, sir." What?!! How stupid does she think I am?

"Good," I said. "I'll tell them too, if I haven't blocked you by then." I'm thinking I'll just give'em heck till I'm done playing with them like they were playing with us.

Matter of fact, seriously... think I'll drive to the office about a half hour into it, open the door and yell, "This is a total scam. Use you smartphones to look it up. Stop now, google them..don't sign a thing, then leave. I've been investigating them for a client for 6 months. Took him for $9000."  

Then they'll look at one another with that "oh poop" look (for lack of a decent word). Priceless! Saturday fun, party tonight at my place! HAHA!!!

I figured this was too good to be true.  I was wondering if anyone who went through this & paid the $125 (according to previous poster) has actually received their cruise or flights.  Right now,...it looks like we will not be showing up...I have much better things to do with my time vs wasting it.

Glad I thought about doing a little research.I too recieved the letter with the cruise and flight "gifts". I was told the same line about a new company just trying to get there name out there. I scheduled an appt for the 90minute bull----. i wont be showing up for that one..............thanks all for the info!!!

Received same Birthday postcard with promise of free cruise and free air tickets for 2.  Planned to go to their 90 min. presentation tonight after going to dinner for Valentines Day.  Glad dinner ran late and we didn't make it because this is such a scam from what I have read and my husband (who I love deeply) is such a sucker and will believe anything people try to sell him.  So be warned Ohio, they have moved in to our area.  They are operating as Globel Connections out of Dublin, OH.  5500 Frantz road suite #110.  Also their e-mail confirmation was under confirmer@vacationtoursusa.com.

We received a similar notice in the mail as well.  It looked almost like a tax document and had a "US Airlines" logo at the top left corner when opened (never heard of that airline?!).  Anyway I called to see what it was all about, as I've had family go to timeshare presentations for the freebies and that has worked out in okay.  The girl I spoke with, Ashley (1-866-540-7145 x101), explained that this is a new travel agency that is using their marketing dollars to target certain families in the area.  She said they are giving away the free airfare for 2.  She wouldn't give me the name of this new travel agency, only their website:  www.airfareanddeals.com and their local address:

She set us an appointment for an "open house" and said she would email all the terms and conditions.  Good thing I gave my junk mail address!  I wish I would've read all this before I called, but thankfully this information is available on this scam.  I hope others do their research as well.

My wife called and setup an appointment.  It is in Grand Rapids.  In our confirmation one line that caught my eye was "Travel incentive recipients will be responsible for taxes and service fees."  What amount of money is this???  Does anyone know of someone who paid this and actually received voucher and used to fly and cruise???

We received an invitation to receive a 2 RT airfares and 8 day/7 night cruise with an outside cabin for 2.  The only info we found on this place was through the phone number and none of it was good. They had said they were a travel company with 21 years in the business. We will not be attending the 90 min. presentation tonight.  If it sounds too good to be true----it is!

I assumed it was a local company till I got the e-mail and did a little research. I won't be attending either.
