The same message only the name she used was Amanda.   Thank you for all of you who posted your experiences.  I just went thru a fraud issue with a different entity.

Receiving several call from Amanda department of education  to contact them immediately loan forgiveness, garnished wages  within 90 days. , Desperately calling me every day  I call the department of education. They are aware of scam.

Jessica from Federal Student loan forgiveness Program. Didn't actually call. Just left a vm from 904 607 8384 and said to call back 817 345 0891. I don't have a student loan so for sure Spam.

I received several calls with similar messages.  The last claiming that they would start garnishing my wages.

The same as everyone from below. Jessica called in regards to enrolling me into a income-based program to pay down my student loan. She also mentioned that I had 90 days to enroll or I would need to start paying on the loan and taxes. Definitely a scam!

Same caller as before, but now it's Amanda. Guess the name Jessica was changed.

A call from Amanda at “Department of Education” to discuss upcoming payments for my student loan that was forgiven!!!

I received a call today (one of many) from 903-414-0945 regarding a nonexistent federal student loan.  The number I was to call back was 817-345-0891

Amanda from here calls repeatedly..817-345-0891..
Called to tell them to remove my number .. that I haven’t had a student loan in 30 years... they hang up on you... SCAM SCAM SCAM

I receive the same message. Knew immediately it was a Scam call; didn't call back.  Please beware.

I received a phone call from this number.  They left a message.  When I called and questioned them, they didn’t have answers abs eventually hanged up on me. I called back again abs they hanged up again.

Message received is below

“Hi this is Amanda and I'm calling from the federal student loan assistance center I just wanted to give you an update on the care Zack it will be ending in December that means _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ will pick back up including wage garnishments and tax offsets give us a call so we can go ahead and get you set up in _⁠_ the forgiveness program through the Department of education it is income-based and we can definitely get you enrolled in that as soon as possible the phone number here is 817-345-0891 thank you…”

I got the same message except it was from Amanda. When I asked what this was regarding she hung up.I called back again and the woman that answered hung up on me again. Scam written all over it.

Got a voicemail that didn’t ring to begin with. Called their 800 # trying to get them to remove my #. They “call center reps” continually hung up on me whether I was calm or irate. They even hung up when I requested a supervisor. This is truly indicative of a scam

Cant understand what they are saying but something about they could set me up on a payment plan

As of Jan. 21, they're now leaving a message about "warranties" on something or other and how it's "not too late."  OBVIOUS scam.  Block or ignore.
