Benchcraft is selling ad spots on a new golf card/book like the pros use for Pecan Lakes CC, Navasota, TX $375 for the year.  I was too broke to do it.  Hope they are legit.

called me in houston said the same thing except shirts for another city. I have been scammed by a company like this. we told them no the first time they caled. now they call three tis a day. I would have to say SCAM. a real company would not do that.

Called once. Message started with " you have been selected...." then hung up.

They claim to be selling ad spots but ask repeatedly where  are you.Why do they need that information beats me but it has scam written all over.Do not believe them.

This number called me and claimed he was a project coordinator for Grapevine municipal golf coarse and was doing a project i may be interested in. So, I called the golf coarse and they said they don't know who he is and he doesnt work there. I see from other posts here he seems to be fishing for some suckers. BEWARE. Con artists are working at stealing your money. The first time he said his name it sounded like Jim Brink, then said his name again and it sounded like Darren Brink. Ether way, NO THANKS.

This is a sales call from Bench Craft Co. They publish free golf guides distributed at various golf courses. They would like to put your ad in a guide for a course near you. I put an ad in a few of their publications. They did a nice job of setting up a good looking ad.  I never received any calls from perspective customers. It was a waste of my advertising budget.

Says they are with Finkbine Golf Course and want us to advertise with them. Boss said to send him some literature via email. now they call constantly.

Had similar message as others here. Stated his name was Cash Curtis and that he's a project coordinator for Los Rios Golf Club in Plano and that he had some questions for us.

Same as Rosy yesterday.  Got a call today regarding 'a few questions' at Los Rios Golf Club.  I suspect they are legitimately putting a gimme book together, but I suspect that any money spent in this form would be wasted for a business like mine. (Pool service).

Left a message stating he was Robert something. As though I knew him, which I do not. Did not state company name.

Live call to business line. Didn't give company name (probably was BenchCraft) about putting an Ad in some guide for a local golf course. Won't agree to anything over the phone, but gave them an email address to send information. As some people have already mentioned, this could be a legitimate advertising opportunity, but still not have any return on the investment if it's not a good media for your business to advertise in.

Got an email from them using a gmail.com account (format was {salepersonname}.bcc@gmail.com), still with no mention of company name anywhere in the email, but images look like they come from http://benchcraftcompany.com/. May try to go to the golf course and see if any of their guides are even available there. But soliciting to a business using a gmail account isn't giving me confidence.

The company has called me about advertising at local golf courses on multiple occasions.  I have repeatedly explained that I no longer have a business and would like to be removed from their call lists.  The calls continue, and have actually increased in frequency.  The latest call, they hung up on me as soon as I answered.

Called our business looking to solicit advertising for a local golf course. When I copped an attitude trying to get the name of the company out of this guy, he hung up on me. Good riddance to you "sir"!! CID said BENCHCRAFT. His area code is NOT local in my city. We refuse to spend advertising dollars with any company that is not really local.

Well known scammer in these pages.

They re not

Guy named Joseph from Benchcraft said he was selling ad space on local golf course score cards. So I took down his info and called the golf course direct. The guy said they do contract all their advertising to Benchcraft and they do advertise on score cards. This must be legit unless someone is using Benchcrafts name to rip you off.

They seem to be "legit", the company does exist, but beware and keep checking you advertising, I am looking at this because I signed up a year ago and while they assure me that the adverting is running I first checked in April and found my advertising in 1 out of 3 spots that I looked up ( paid for 4 ), I checked again a couple days ago and I did not find my advertising in ANY spot.
