Spoke with this person claimed to be a Microsoft Professional he also provided me with his microsoft professional number however I was not able to verify any of this as I was on the road at the time. He is suppose to call me back later today 4/20/2018 5 pm eastern. He claimed to answering a windows 10 issue I have been experiencing. I will be on high alert for tonight's call. I hope this helps. Hi Karen & Gary, I just got a call from the same number. My phone said it was suspected to be spam, so I didn't answer. Whoever it was didn't leave a message, so it must be REALLY important, lol. Anyways it's coming from somewhere in Southern California, and you guys are spot on about it being a scammer. Karen, my number is registered on the 'Don't Call List'. Did Trump try and do away with that?? Is that what you meant?

Got a call on 4/20/18 from this number. My phone notified me it was suspected scam caller, so I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.

The guy was heavily accented from the Indian Subcontinent. He said my computer was at risk because it was operating without a firewall. When I asked him which company he was representing he said it was "Windows Technical Department". I said I had never heard of it and he said it operated on behalf of Microsoft. I asked him why my own IT department was not calling me and things started to get weird. I then asked for his name and he hung up.

If you are registered on the donotcall list that is for legal telemarketers who follow the guidelines, If not, they can face hefty fines if reported and found guilty of violations. The people calling you are scammers, they are often based out of the US and do not care about legal laws and do what they want to attempt to get money out of unsuspecting people. Best thing to do is not answer any calls from unrecognizable numbers and block them if you can. Do not engage them in conversation, this is what they want to try and wear you down.

Answered phone  indian voice said "hello" about a dozen times. I did not say anything. heard many voices in the background so obviously a boiler room type operation.

Told me he is my pc tech. I’m the CEO of a company and have my own IT. For sure scam

Computer tech scammers, barely able to speak English 🙄And then people wonder why prejudice exists and stereotypes exist. The only foreign callers I ever receive are scammers 🙄🙄🙄

Was told i had computer issues ...I said i don't own a computer the person said yes u have one its connected to our sever ..After laughing i said i would to see that i been homeless living under the bridge 4 eight years #scamthat

Caller ID "WOODSTOCK" Didn't recognize the number,and let it go to VM. They left no message and are now block. No doubt in my mind that they are scammers.

I spent about a half hour with them. Their patience was astounding. I played like I was the biggest idiot. When they asked what browser I had, I said Dell. I told them I had to turn the seven year-old modem back on because my aunt turns it off to save electricity.

At one point they  hung up and called back, I answered "Microsoft Support. This is Carey. How can I help you?" Then I told him to type in the web address he had given me, then told him to add "back slash gofuckyourself."

He was "Whatt!?!" Then I told him to stop scamming people.

Get these calls all the time  they say they are from Microsoft or windows or they want to send me money they owe me  they want to open up my computer so they can get me to a formal they can send me the money I am on the state and federal do not call I have been blocking numbers but they just keep calling I tell them that they are scammers uses names David and Robert

I do not answer unknown calls.  I just wish there was some way to stop them.  Even if you answer and tell the to stop, they often do not. l HELP.

Do not call list really doesn’t work anymore because they “spoof” their numbers...them move them around ..Just don’t answer phone. I had one from them when i got home today and showed;Sunland CA..I actually have 3 scam calls on my caller ID and its fun to look them up
And then delete them

I got a call from this number claiming that is was for windows problem.  when i inquired further who he was, the guy started blabbering in some INDIAN language in frustration.  Reporting to police soon.
