Tech Support Scam claiming there was a problem with my "Windows" computer.  Just wants to charge a fee for doing nothing except maybe running some spyware

I think they use the do not call list to get their directory.

Some signaling saying he's from Windows and wanted me to grant him access to my computer. I asked if he could just give me directions because I would have to hang up to dial in. He didn't understand. Some techi! Lol.

I just had a call from this number

i.I It was a Chinese man claiming to work for. Microsoft. He said your computer is not working properly. I hung up immediately

Played dumb! I love Turning the table on these people ! I go Rahag Rahag I know you would call ...remember me from the wedding he goes ah yes yes ! Lol

It's a scam, no question. Don't fall for it. They will lock your computer and or steal your info.

Calls repeatedly without leaving a message

This number has called me repeatedly over the last week. When I answer, there is silence for 10 seconds and then they hang up. No Indians or anything.

I kept him on the phone for 10 minutes while “plugging in my modem” before he finally hung up on me.

This call comes through listed As Woodstock. I have not answered. Calls all day, every day. Today I answered.  Said his name is Mark.   Heavy India accent. They are calling about my computer problem. I said I don't have a problem.  OH yes I do he said. I said Mark I do not need your service and hung up.   I will not pickup again

The caller id displayed "Woodstock" and I usually do not answer, but I'm tired of them calling.  First, I asked to be removed from their list. He argued with me for a few minutes and said, "Let me show you that you have problems with your computer."  So I sat down and followed his instructions.  He said, "See how 70% of your computer isn't running?"  The screen he took me to showed some programs running and some stopped.  Then he wanted me to type in something and when I asked what that would do, he said it would allow him to have access to my computer so he could go in and fix the problems.  I said, "No, I don't know you."  He argued with me for a while and I finally said that I have a local company I take my computer to when I have problems.  He said they can't fix Windows.  I asked again to be removed from the list, but I couldn't tell if he had already hung up on me or not, so I hung up. I have a hard time believing that Windows is going to call me out of the blue to volunteer to fix my problems for free!  And wouldn't you think the caller id would show "Windows Tech Support" or something similar?

hi just got the call from this number saying something with my computer DO NOT ANSWER

They called me twice everyday for a week and I never answered but I finally decided to google the number and bam it’s a scammer

I'm tired of the phone companies, FCC, FTC, etc not doing enough to stop crap like this. Sure some of the scam calls are coming from outside the country, but that should make them even easier to amass data on and block, if not legally pursue.

I’ve been getting calls from this number since April 22nd. I’ve never picked up and I’ve only gotten 2 voice mails. One that was just silence and the other one was a guy kept yelling hello into the phone.
