- Kevin CarriereJust dead noise and banging.
- JennPerson called my work number asking for the Director of HR. I said I didn't know who that was off the top of my head, I'd have to look them up. I asked what this was regarding. He said he was from the Board of Directors and needed to send something to the Director of HR. Now if this was true, they'd know who that is.
Then they said my name... "Are you xxxx... oh then you're the one I'm looking for." I said, well "I'm not the Director of HR... What Board of Directors are you calling from exactly?"...
And they hung up. Still creeped out that they knew my name somehow. I saw the 818 area code and assumed it was a friend of mine from LA, but it was not. Sounds like they are fishing for some kind of information or access to a decision-maker.- Call type: Telemarketer
- WAsked to speak with Callie Walker. I informed them we don't have anyone by that name. They then asked to speak with our IT director/manager. I asked what it was regarding and she wouldn't say. She was persistent, on the edge of rudeness, that she speak with the manager. She wouldn't give the name of the business she is working for or her name.

- Shayla S.Called asking for an employee who hasn't worked for us in 15 years (Red Flag). After notifying them that we have no one here by that name, they then asked to be connected to someone in our IT Department. I told her I was unable to connect them but could take a message. At that point, there was complete silence other than the sounds of the call center noise in the background. The lady wasn't very polished at all and very, very young and nervous sounding. After waiting for her to begin her spiel for the message to be left, she just was silent so I hung up on her. Don't have time for that crap.
- university IT personCalled and asked to clarify if I was an IT person then started talking about wanting to send email and snail mail white papers from IBM and CDW. At least two other coworkers got a call from this same number within minutes of me hanging up with this clown.

- MidwestCalled 5 time sin the span of 15mins today asking to speak to IT manager. Said we had filled out some survey in the past and that if we needed to get off the list he could send us an email to unsubscribe. Talked very fast and sounded young. Felt uneasy after the call so called the number back. A recording answers saying "If you want to be added to our don't call list, press 9." It hangs up after you press 9. If you don't press 9, it also just hangs up.
Not sure what there angle is, seeing as how a lot of our information is listed on our website....- Caller: 818-351-3527

- Caller: IT Brief ???
- SoniaCaller from 818-351-3527 called from IT Brief. Then they called and hung up and when I called their number back they asked for me to press 9 to remove from their calling list. This seems to be fraudulent.
- Caller: IT Brief

- KarenIndividual named "Michael Brown" called. He indicated he was calling on behalf of Blue Wolf. He has called in the past looking for the IT department, to which he was directed. This time however he called to speak to an 'HR director' about IT information. He refused to leave a message. After I informed him he would not be able to speak to anyone (employee was OOO) he became rude and hung up.
- Caller: Unknown / Blue Wolf (?)
- KathyThey called our main line & kept hitting "0" for the operator for about 10 times. They finally hung up. They called back & left message but you couldn't understand the person speaking at all (almost sounded like they were talking to someone else in the office).

- The GatekeeperWe received a call from this number today, asking for an employee that hasn't worked here in years. Asked to speak to our controller, so I put them thru to a general mailbox. They left a message saying, "Oh, we'll just call back tomorrow and keep calling back." Then they laughed....wth?? Creepy!!!

- RJ"IT Brief" wanted to send me an email detailing... at that point I cut him off, said no, and pressed the button to hang up the speakerphone.
Phone call looks like it was transferred from a lobby at some office they dialed into so the creep had my name but not my phone # or email address.- Caller: IT Brief

- GGot a call from this number in my office landline phone within few minutes before I write this. Rang three times and stopped, no message left. Caller ID displayed Sun Valley CA.
- GateKeeperOkay, so they've gotten their sh*t together a little since the last time they called.
Identified themselves as IT brief, but BUTCHERED the name of our company.
Asked for the controller, and when i pressed for her name, shockingly, he had it.
She's not interested, I watched her line reject the call, and it's CLEARLY a telemarketer, but still, this time they knew WHO to ask for.- Caller: IT Brief

- DallasTXThey call me every few weeks. I don't answer, but they leave a long, silent message. What's odd is that in the "silent" message you can hear what sounds like a large press or machine banging away. It's like "BOOM!" "BOOM!" "BOOM!" like someone's beating a wall with a hammer.
- GateKeeperCalled a different company, asking for someone who has, to the best of my knowledge, never worked here.
