- AlexHard to hear the caller, but introduced himself as Mark Logan from IT Brief and tried asking a bunch of questions he shouldn't have the answers to, justifying them with something about IT and Symantec.
- Caller: IT Brief
- Call type: Telemarketer
- CJThey called and left a very long message on my voice mail – nothing that made any sense.
- Call type: Prank
- StanCalled 4 times in less than 10 minutes. Told them we will not transfer them or give any information. Total SCAM
- BethA lady called and said, "May I please speak to Beth?" I said, "This is Beth" and she hung up. I tried calling back and got a recording that said to please press 9 to be placed on their Do Not Call List.
- OliviaThey called me 3 times in a row on 1/27/15, left no message. Annoying.
- annoyedUsed to get this same call from 302-212-4434. Same IT Breif, Same background chatter, Same accent almost unable to understand. I get them talking then play soundbytes into the phone. Like "what would you do with a brain if you had one" from tha Wizard of Oz, or the Jetsons Astro saying OH Oh, or the light happy music from the "Leave it to Beaver" show.
Alway good to share the misery back.
So Annoying
- Visitor replies to Uncle SammyThis is interesting - since I was only visiting Tripler Army Medical Center today and got this call while there. Not sure how they know I'm on a base today, but that's pretty crazy.
- GateKeeperCalled asking for someone who hasn't worked here in nearly a year. We're keeping this on the downlow for the time being, so I asked if I could take a message. He said "voicemail please" I told him [the former CFO] didn't like solicitation calls going to his voicemail, but I could gladly take a message.
Called me a [***].
And as I've been typing this, 2 others have called for different employees.
Harassment.- Caller: IT Brief
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Let's-Get-EvenHere is what you should do. Answer the phone with something like, "Federal Spamming hotline". Caller will most likely be in a hurry to hang up and is discouraged from calling you back. If the caller should continue, request his/her name and the nature of their complaint.

- JodyReceived two calls from this number. The first I didn't answer, but picked up the second after reading the information here, just to see what they would say (and for my own amusement, really). The woman on the other line asked if she was reaching my company (she had the right company, but I work from a home office). I asked her what the call was regarding, and asked if she could talk to an IT professional, and then asked for me by name (I hadn't identified myself). When I told her that I was not an IT professional, she asked for another employee of my company, who is on the IT team, but, you know, doesn't work in my house. She asked me if I could transfer the call, to which I said no. She then told me that she was not a telemarketer and if I wouldn't transfer the call, she would have to call back. I haven't decided whether I'll block the number right away or have a little fun when she calls back. We'll see.

- JeffMust be a garbage and/or unwanted sales call. They call and when they get my voice mail, they hang up. It's not a robot hanging up - you can tell someone was at the originating end of the line. Don't waste time answering a call from this number.
- ReceptionistSemiconductorThis number had been calling consistently for a person who is in engineering at the company I work at. If they have a first and last name, I will transfer.
Well, number called again and asked for the same person. Then called a few minutes later asking for another person. I questioned him and asked if the person he was asking for expecting his call. This is how it went down:
"Is he expecting my call? Well no" -Him
"I apologize I cannot transfer to cold callers" -me
"Well you know what? Fine if you don't want to transfer me you have to fix your own stuff... CLICK" - Him- Call type: Telemarketer
- GateKeeper| 1 replySo, I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but IT brief has started calling from a locally spoofed number. (512-842-5003 for us...4 times already today)

- IT Pro replies to GateKeeperNope, called me just a few minutes ago and 818-351-3527 came up on caller ID. I didn't answer the call and they didn't leave a voicemail.
- SLTextThey just called here using the 818 number, but I did not answer it
- SL Textfrom "IT Brief" - asked for me by name; claimed to no be a survey company. He had an email address that was close to the actual email address, but was inaccuate.
- Caller: IT Brief
- AnonymousIT brief, they call everyone in my company every 2-3 months asking for the "IT director". They ignore the "do not call" list. The will not remove you from their calling list. They just keep calling over and over again. Someone could become very rich by suing these [***]
