I sit at the front desk of my company and these people harassed me:
Sun Valley, CA – 818-351-3527 – regarding IT Whitepaper. Each time they called, they asked for a different employee. I told them not to call again.
Number of times they called just this morning.

Work at a law firm and our attorney kept getting calls and they were very rude.

I have received somewhere close to 40 calls from this company asking for someone in IT. Every time that I actually pick up the phone I ask to be put on a do not call list or to be transferred to a manager to be removed. Each time they call they ask for another person, none of whom work at my company, maybe they just make up random names. I received 13 calls from them in just the last few days and another 2 today. I called back and pressed "9" to get on the do not call list but it hasn't worked before so I don't know why it would now...

They just called again, not even an hour after I put myself on the do not call list.

It takes something like 6 months or the DNC list to activate it. It tells you that when you sign up.

However, the DNC list is only used by reputable companies. Slimy slippery companies don't follow the rules.

"IT Group", thick Indian accent speaking mofo wanting all our company information so they can continue to harass us and/or sell our names to a million other companies doing the same thing they are. No way. Stop #$%@#ing calling!

They call frequently.  The frequency varies from weekly to every 5 minutes.  It must be a robot dialer as it calls my number and then my co-workers around me a microsecond later.

Occasionally I get bored and answer.  Dead air, then they hangup, then my co-workers phone rings.

My co-workers have answered their calls and they got asked for company information.

looking for IT dept.... blah blah blah.... Symantec bologna...blah blah blah....  I told him if he wanted our IT dept he could look it up on the web for himself.  "Oh... okay".  They called last week a couple of times, two different people in our office, same spiel.

No message left. Most likely iT related.

Called company line saying they were IT company...not a sales call.
Asking if I was in IT role etc.

As a informed them repeatedly that I didn't want any more calls or emails they
Continue to ask for personal info, like my Job title etc.

Finally they asked to be transferred back to operator.

They claimed to be calling from the "Board of Directors" and asked for info to get in touch with the Director of HR.

Losers, I asked which Board of Directors he was with, because it's not ours... he would have that information if he was. That's when he hung up.

Oh, IT Brief.
You complete my day.
Seriously, every day for 3 weeks solid now, they've called for a President who has moved. We're not publicly stating that he's gone, until some legal issues are handled.
I keep telling them he's unavailable, but I can take a message, and they assure me that if they try later, they'll catch him.

I PROMISE they won't.

Called asking for someone who doesn't work here. Never heard of the guy.  Then they try to come up with another name. Now, this time, the guy does work here but I could tell from the background noise it was a call center and told I have no one here by that name.  Looked up the number and it's someone phishing for an IT manager.  Not on my watch sweetie!

They just called in asking for a person who has been gone for like 5 years.  I say he's no longer with the company, and how could I help him.  Asked for the Director of IT, I say we're an IT Recruiting firm, you'll need to narrow your request a touch.  He says he was the replacement person of the originally guy he asked for.. Yah, that's not going to happen.  Then I say I'll have to take a message, what's your name? (in my best perky switchboard voice) He mutters, You'll have to take a message?  Yep,  will be more than happy to pass your message along.  Rude dude.  He said he would go about getting what he wanted another way, and hung up on me.  

You just do that you slimy call center creep that I can totally hear, you just do that.

Called my work VM. No Voicemal except this drumming like machinery sound in the background that had a best. I deleted the email work sent with the recording.

these people call about 3 times a week.
I never answer it.

Looks like IT Brief is using this number again. This is the fourth time they have called my line vaguely asking for the director of IT over the past year.
