I bought into both Alpine Pictures and Love is The Drug. Both losers. Alpine even went as far as to send me "Love is The Drug" Hats and Tee Shirts that they supposedly had the crew wearing during filming.
I haven't received the financials or "K" tax form for the last 2 years even after constant requests.

Does anyone know who the current Bridge Group contact is and phone number?

You and I sound exactly alike although I did receive a K-1 for 2011.  Alpine is now calling itself Summertime Entertainment.  Their phone # is 818-953-9424.  When answered it is always answered by what sounds to my ears to be the same woman who has answered their phones for years and unintellligibly says some word upon answering. Like you, I was sold shares in Alpine having been convinced (shame on me)  OZ was going to allow them to offer an IPO and all of us shareholders stood to make a nice profit. Alpine now Summertime is the parent company of all the many LLCs (Box Office Productions I, II, III etc) and whatever is producing OZ.  I long ago gave up ever thinking I would recoup anything I put in.  Of course, Love is the Drug is gone as are the two or so movies they made afterwards. I found the LITD items they sent me (posters t shirts etc) and put them in the trash  this past Spring. Good luck. They may email you an investor's password and link to financials so you can read them and let your eyes pop out of your head as you do.

Seeing how you posted enough information to lead anyone here to your real estate venture, I am quite curious as to whether or not you have some information that would make shareholders  hold onto shares of stock of Summertime you'd be willing to share here.

I would caution anyone who is considering such a transaction to do your due dilligence.  It is unusual to say the least to consummate a deal on a Who Called Me web site.  Just sayin'!

Is everyone here clueless? Do not invest in this sham. If you have doubt then this is not the right investment for you. Plain and simple. Investments need trust just like any relationship. That's what an investment is......a relationship.

No we are not clueless , and many of us who invested believe in the project  , despite the risks. Where has anyone who invested in this said there is no risk? It is a movie deal , they don't get much riskier than that ! I agree with you that if anyone has any doubts that they should not invest and stick to their CD's or mutual funds. But where do you get off calling everyone clueless and that this is a sham? What is your relationship to the project? Do you know any of the people involved ? Do you know anything about the progress of the movie and the other pieces of the project? Just because you hide behind an anonymous posting doesn't give you the right to make disparaging statements about an investment myself and others here are invested in. It's almost like you are rooting for us to lose the investment we have already made years ago.

For those who were and still doubters , I saw the new teaser trailer in the theater last nite attached to Walking with Dinosaurs.

It looked great  Its coming in 20 weeks .

There is a zero chance of recovery of a nickel for any investor in this movie...I am in the business...People if its to good to be true then it is...Let me tell you an absolute fact...96% of movies produced lose money....The movie business is not for normal working people to be involved in...Its for smooth talking con men and there con men accountants......This is a slam dunk disaster investment...

Apps, casual games , music, video games, licensing in  many many categories . In addition  if you are in the business you should be well aware of DVDs , VOD,, cable. tV etc.al of this is world wide.All of these  revenue
Streams will generate very nice returns on our investment.Please stop bad mouthing about a project you know nothing about

Don't lose your head toy guy. The main point is that this not an "investment" that is to be sold to normal working people but to accredited investors. Being accredited should mean among other things being smart enough not to get involved in something that has a 4% success rate even if it is run by people with a history of producing a profitable product. This pipe dream is being produced and distributed by people who have a zero (0) history of success, but do have a long history of cease and desist orders, making crappy movies and not making a dime for anyone other than themselves. Keeping those things in mind, anyone out there who is  not an accredited investor, contact the SEC if you got sucked in, or save yourselves the heartbreak and do not get involved in the first place. You don't know what you're doing.

Who and what is an accredited investor? All investments are a gamble. It does seem that in the past Alpine pictures was not very successful. However this project seems to have professionals involved. Please don't call us stupid for willingly taking the gamble. I guess all we can do is wait and see what happens after the movie is released.

I'm sorry for making you feel that I called you stupid. I'm just trying to inform the uninformed. You will find the definition of an accredited investor in the paperwork that you were presented with by BOPI, BOPII or BOP III or whatever the entity was that you bought into. Surely you have read and understood the documents that you signed. There are SEC laws and regulations that protect the uninformed from con-men who are able to con the unsophisticated investor into "willingly taking the gamble" This "investment" is not to be sold to the general public, by cold calling or any-other means.Stay away from it unless you are qualified to evaluate it per SEC minimum standards that are included in the "offering"

I was not conned. I went into this investment fully understanding the risks. I also was not one of those that was cold called. I was told about this by another investor. I did my due diligence and was satisfied with what I found. Once again we will have to wait and see whether returns from the franchise are paid.

Mr. Fubs, you did not answer the question whether or not you meet the definition of an "Accredited Investor". Please read the "Investor Suitability Standards" located towards the front of your "CONFIDENTIAL PRIVATE PLACEMENT MEMORANDUM" and let me know if you qualify under any of those conditions. If yes, than you would be allowed under the SEC rules to buy shares in this "investment", but if not than these regulations are in place to protect the inexperienced and gullible general population from professional con-men. My only goal in all of this is to warn and protect the people who are not qualified to properly evaluate this "CONFIDENTIAL PRIVATE PLACEMENT MEMORANDUM" from con-men who know better but fleece them anyway. I do not want to interfere with anyone who is sophisticated enough, those people will know what to do, and they will get what they get. So are you or are you not an "Accredited Investor"?

#1 - You don't know if I'm a man or woman, so I take exception being called Mr.
#2 - It's none of your damn business if I make more than $200,000 or have over $1 million in assets, which would make me an "Accredited Investor".
As I said before I chose to invest in this project after weighing all of the risks. I have made investments before that have made money and I have made investments before that have lost money. Naturally I am hoping that this investment makes money. Again let's wait and see what happens. Hopefully we will revisit this issue after profits are distributed to the investors in the 4th quarter of this year and in the years to come.

Lights! Camera! Scammed! Do a search on movie accounting. Even in the Golden days of Hollywood, Studio accountants showed block-buster movies losing money. It used to be a running gag that people were offered a share of 'net' profits. Once the accountants were done - there weren't any!
