There should be some kind of law against scammers - like back in the day we would hang pirates and put their bodies on display. We should do that again for scammers from other countries. this [removed:lang] keeps calling me and i told her to [removed:lang] - I post on Craigslist quite freqently and depending on which section, i get dozens of scumbags trying to scam me

If it sounds too go to be true - its a scam!

don't be fooled people - my advice is arrange a meeting with the police there to arrest them - or just [removed:lang] shoot em!

they just called my house and my cell, back to back. I didn't answer either call and they left no messages.

yes i posted adds on craigslist in tampa fl and that [***] that sounds like a little kid keeps call around 7 o clock every nite now the man jibber jabber is calling too from same number they get the jack hole of the week award .p.s they can take some abuse lol they must get paid good.

I've never put my number on CraigsList either, so I don't think it's solely from there..

There is a guy that calls from this number and he states his name as Michael he is persistant and unprofessional on the phone and he sounds like he is from India.  I hope one day he will find a real job. I find this caller and whoever he represents annoying.  By the way I am American and if a foreigner with a accent who's is a telemarketer try's to sell me something, I immediately think it is a scam, because of the accent.   Because of that Michael "GO FIND A REAL JOB"

i just got this call im 15 and have never even been to craigsist

I got one from this # tonight but I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Reverse phone lookup shows its a landline in Houston. I haven't posted anything on craigslist in a long time and when I did I never put my phone #. Maybe these scammers have another way to get phone #s now?

Did they stop calling you after you asked them to remove you from the list? Did you know it is illegal for telemarketers to call after 8 or 9 pm? I just received a call from that number so I'm trying to figure out what to do.. Thanks!

Recently, however, my son bought me a PLANE TICKET from CHEAPO Airlines, or something, and I'll BET that's why. I had a call from VIRGINIA (state of!) this morning before I ever turned my phone ON... but this was a southern-drawl woman saying she was trying to reach "Sandy". HUH. No one here by THAT name. My CAT'S name sounds a bit like "sandy", though, and I have used part of it as a 'user name' on websites, before. Someplace is selling a list with our numbers on it!!! I DON'T like that!!

Hey, If you REPORT UNWANTED CALLS on this site, isn't that possibly just giving out your info to another list of telemarketers????!!! I HATE this!!

Yep Craigslist ad I posted last night then got a call today.... some booking agency or something.... My phone says caller is calling from Houston, TX

missed the call, called back and got silence. It makes me wonder to whom I just allowed access into my smartphone or computer. or maybe it's just an annoying telemarketer. I have family in Texas and just posted ads to CL. But who knows? It's probably just some annoying telemarketer using y-tel predictive dialer.

I just received a call from this number, that makes the second time they have called. The person never says anything because I won't answer the phone for this number,I don't know anyone in Houston so I won't answer it,I anticipated that it was a possible scam or sales pitch of some kind. The last call had what sounded like kids in the background talking.why is this caller so annoying?

I got called by this phone number I didn't answer it, and I tell you don't answer the call! All the other comments it looks like some telemarketing bullcrap. But I don't use cragslist so I don't know how'd they get my phone number.
