Craigslist web crawler, got a call from this number a few hours after i posted a couple things to CL, siad they were calling on behalf of Direct Buy, i knew they got my number from web crawling, i called em on it and told em to go to hell, and blocked their number on google voice

Best thing to do when you post a craigslist AD is to get a free Google number so they won't call your cell or home.

I got a call from what sounded to be a very thick accented asian woman just before 8 pm, she asked me my age and said I sounded young, I couldn't understand half of what she said, she ended up asking me if I had a facebook account and I told her no, I don't understand what her game is but don't buy into any crap she feeds you, someone called my grandparents a couple of months ago claiming I was arrested and had my full name and some how their information and phone number, claimed I was locked up somewhere in spain when I won a free trip there and they wanted them to post bail and a whole ball of wax! These people are clever, I don't know where they mined my personal details from, perhaps when chase's website got hacked, I think they may have gotten phone numbers and emails from that, mostly everything was encrypted.

Just called said they were from Lafayette and had the ultimate vacation. We said "not interested" and they called back.

We too had posted to Craigslist.... Ugh.

I received a call from this number about 30 minutes after posting an ad on Craigslist. She sounds Indian or middle eastern and said she was calling on behalf of the local office of DirectBuy. Which I presume is false. She immediately hung up when I asked how she got my number.

Ive never posted anything on any website before especially with my business lines number. A little weird to recieve a call at 8 at night to my business line but I called it back and it said on the answering machine that i reached the reservation center. Ok. Um thats a little odd. How did my office number get out there for them to call? A little weirded out.

I lost my dog, never used craigslist before and then i made a post today about my lost dog, then this lady calls me from this #. It is from craigslist i posted my name, and my #. This was seattle-tacoma craigslist lost and found.

Got a call from this number for a timeshare type deal. I couldn't understand her. She said something to the effect that she got my number off a referral something or another. I asked if she got it off Craigslist and who is the company she works for. She hung up. ..LOL.. She got my number from a listing off Craigslist I had in Hampton Roads, Va.

Same. I don't use craigslist. But This is the umpteenth time this number has called, I've never answered.

Some lady keeps calling me from that number saying my husband and I won a vaction package. The address she gave to come and claim my winnings was 191 Cottage Cove Lane, Williamsburg VA 23185.. She called from 832-397-6170

keeps Calling until I pick up said they were calling from Kingsmill resort in Williamsburg, Va I know its a scam from looking the number up!!

Called me on a wednesday at 8:30 pm eastern time, did not say anything when I said hello, gave them plenty of time, nobody on the other end. Hung up.
