I got message from this number and it's definitely a scam.

Had to be a scam. Welcome to SMS messages from Popcorn via Square - Reply to send us a message or "END"
to unsubscribe from receiving messages, std rates apply  Then a link with my supposed receipt from a purchase. Didn’t buy anything.

Sent to the wrong phone number.  Simple mistake and nothing malicious about it.

Got a text from this nuber claiming i a receipt from a mexican resturant was ready. I did not open it im sure its a scam then i needed to ck my bank account to make sure.

Claims to be reciept to the "Brooklyn Stranger Things Experience". About a month 1/2 ago i did buy tickets to Tribeca Alice Wonderland Experience.  3 NYC city blocks turned into life size intractive mystery of somekind. I saw this stanger things brooklyn thing then. But did not buy it. Ovrr month ago. I know i didnt buy this then nor have i been back to site since where i purchased Alice wonderland thing. If wasn't for that I don't think i would have recognized this text or clicked the link. But saw it thought some tupe of mistake my tickets & clicked. I am usually very aware of not clicking in soam texts. When i did click link showed copy of reciept $97 to Stranger Things with in the name of someone who is not me. Clearly a scam i am just not sure to what end. We paid for the alice tickets with my hubby's card. When he us out of work i will have to have him make sure we were nit charged for this. It makes very little sense. If there is a charge,  that mwans a over a month after we paid for a specific event , somehoe are info was used 6 or 8 weeks later to purchase something we never authorized. Its Very strange .

Who says that your info was used?  According to you the name is wrong, and the last 4 digits of the card are on the receipt.  Is that the last 4 digits on your card?  It quite possible that somehow your phone number got mixed up with that person's number.

Pretty much the same as everyone else. Received two texts to view my receipt from Homegrown Festival 2022. As great as that sounds, I've been showing properties all day and was not at any festivals. Not replying, it's a scam.

Received multiple SMS messages from this number claiming to be Beauty By Jo via Square regarding a request I allegedly submitted for an appointment. There were 3 messages sent within a 5 minute period, and they went from a Welcome to Beauty by Jo message to a Reviewing your request message and finally Declined appointment request. Each message included a url to a questionable site. Blocking this fraudulent number, as I am too cute to require Jo's services. I'm a natural beauty, hunty.

No, simply a wrong number but unfortunately cognitive dissonance prevents people from understanding that.

Interestingly enough, I got the random Square “view your receipt message” as everyone else did…but the reason why I’m hesitant to assume it’s spam is because I got 2 messages and both were from pretty lowkey restaurants that I DID in fact eat at on a vacation in Hawaii in 2021 (a year ago).  So either it was legit from Square, or scammers are getting scary good.

Got two texts from this number, something about a receipt from Revamped.  Never heard of that merchant.  I am familiar with Square, as a payment platform, so my guess is someone either entered a wrong number, or this is a scam attempt.
