left msg, gives wrong # for company...won't call

Caller left message saying they were calling for the wellcare user in the house and to call this number back. As previously stated by others, the number does not match any of the Wellcare numbers I have.

Received voicemail they said they were from WellCare but the phone number didn't match up so it was probably scam call

Message said they were from Wellcare Prescription Plan and call them

Same voicemail reported by others.  Wellcare or a pharmacy has been hacked---- they had my phone number (obviously) and said my name in the voicemail.  Did not call back.

I have received three calls claiming to be Well Care. One even left a message.  I ignored

Received VM stating Wellcare, called back, recording knew my name and phone number but wanted to confirm Id with my birthdate.  They should know it.  Hung up.

Thee scam involved a yes or no answer request that traps you with an obvious yes response.

A call came in ID:Wellcare 978-552-6411. Wasn't cut off by DoNotCall. I have WellCare and recently received paper mail, so I listened and let it go to the recording. They knew my full name. It said to call 833-379-2121. The most suspicious part was, the voice of the lady who was speaking, sounded just like  the voice on scam calls from many other sources.

Received same phone call. Also called customer service number on myWellCare card and asked if this was a legitimate number for them. They checked and said no. I thanked them for letting me know is was a spam call.

Phone call was a recorded message stating that WellCare was the business calling and requested a call back to this number.  It was not listed as a number to call on my printed Wellcare information.  I did NOT call it...have had too many scam calls with this format.

Had a voicemail from 833-379-3121 saying they were from WellCare and to call them.  I couldn't find this number on any WellCare paper work so did not call back.

This is the second time 1-978-552-6411 called claiming to be a WellCare. They tell me to call 1-833-379-2121. They say it is not a sales call. But isn’t this a classic phish where the link or phone number is not on the WellCare website? I suppose I should double check with WellCare. Too bad WellCare is so slow with their open enrollment mailings such that I worry I’m missing an hour mportanr notification. I know my plan is discontinued next year.

I like others on this thread received this call several times and I have not answered nor called back.  Clearly WellCare should be warning their clients that there is a scam going on using their name.
