- TeresaNumerous texts and calls I leave them all unanswered I know who I owe and who I don’t and these people I don’t have anything for them

- Amused replies to Person of interestI have the same received phone calls & messages and have answered a call, as well as called them back and got the same BS story on my owing "Lending Tree Auto" and that they wanted to settle a debt that day to prevent garnishment. First of all they have to get a judgement against you in court (which you will receive a summons for) before they can have your wages garnished. Complete scam as they will not provide proof of debt or claim they have already provided in the past and will not send again. I have lived at the same address for over 5 years and never heard from "Lending Tree Auto" on any supposed debt other than the multiple calls and text messages in the last 6 months. Block one number, they call from another.....continuous cycle of BS.
- Chris replies to JoshThey texted me AND my Mom and referred to be my old last name that hasn’t been used in 20 years.

- Sarah| 1 replyJust reply stop and you will be removed from the messages from the service. It is United Recovery solutions. No idea if they are legit or not.
However the person they are trying to reach via the text is not me, so who knows if it is scam or legit- Caller: United Recovery Solutions
- Call type: Debt collector
- BigA replies to SarahQuote:No idea if they are legit or not.
But all of that has already been answered in this thread.Quote:so who knows if it is scam or legit - Cindy E. replies to TeeTHANK YOU for your comment on further explaining their reason for texting me also. I have learned NOT to call the number sent or reply to a text until I GOOGLE the name or company given to see if it is a scam!! If it were LIGIT, then someone would call or send snail mail, NOT text!!! Of course, now-a-days, even calls & snail mail can be scams also!!! You CANT TRUST ANYONE anymore!!! So sad what people have turned into to steal money from others instead of having MORALS & a WORK ETHIC!!!!!

- Maranda| 1 replyThis person texted me this:
Hello MICHAEL DENNIS this is Thomas Hughes from the Mediation Department. It's imperative that you contact my office at 833-431-3109
And my father has been dead since 2016!- Caller: Mediation Department
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- MJG replies to MarandaTypical SCAM text - which is not official of anything. As stated earlier it is the 'we have summons for you" SCAM. DELETE & block by forwarding it to 7726. Most companies can block future ones.
- Jeff replies to Jennifer kellerYeah I just got the exact same text from this Thomas Hughes saying it was imperative that I call his mediation department immediately but the person they addressed was my Dad not me. He’s got no credit issues and he’s 75 so it’s some sort of scam. It was a text from a normal number though 970-289-3533. It’s too coincidental that at least 3 people have the exact same thing on this site happen to them.
