- TeeThese people constantly called my mother leaving messages for me. They told her the same stuff about coming to my job but I'd need 2 forms of ID. Ha! I work from home! Good luck with that! they also told her they don't have a current phone number or address for me but later stated they'd come to my home as well so the guy could deliver my package and also gave a fake reference number.

- Cheryl replies to NiaI got the same threatening call from 833-945-4011, I called the number they left, I got someone on the the phone, said her name was Melissa. They wouldn’t give me they’re address, said I’d get it in documents I’d receive. Well no one showed up with any paperwork. These people are really slick
- JENNThese jacka$$es must have gotten a new number. The one left for me was 888-697-8479. The last two days, I have received the same call (blocked, of course) from "Miguel". He's a courier for the county I live in and he has documents for me that he will deliver to my home or place of employment. I emailed the county clerk's office and let them know the situation. I got a reply that she called the 888 number and started asking them questions. They hung up on her. I called and they answered Rose and Associates. I googled that name and it shows a legal team for debt collection. Let me just say this...I know I have some debt out there, but, come at me like that and see what happens. This is not cool. How do these a$$holes sleep at night?

- Not falling for this crudReceived a voicemail from a "Miguel" claiming he was a private courier for my county (a county name which he amusingly incorrectly pronounced) and would be delivering a sealed package from Rose & Duncan Associates tomorrow afternoon, that he would be trying my workplace first and then my home address. I need to provide two forms of ID to sign for the document BUT if I want to reschedule delivery or find out what it is about, I can call (888) 724-9233 and provide the case number left in the voicemail.
SCAM.
A process server (oh wait - I mean *private courier*) will not call you to let you know that they are coming or let you know you can reschedule delivery. Doing so would allow you to avoid service, and legitimate documents (like those from a court) are required to be served within specific timeframes. You might be asked for your name to confirm identity when served by a legitimate process server, but you would never be asked for a form of ID, much less two. And calling a number of a law firm that is toll-free but does not appear to be listed anywhere? Definitely sus. A legitimate law firm specializing in debt recovery would gladly paste their number on the internet to make it easier for people to call them and pay. Also, a legitimate process server would have the actual documents in their possession and would be able to give you the docket number, court date, plaintiff name, etc. Again, they wouldn't call in the first place but they also wouldn't call from a blocked or unknown number and tell you to call a cagey toll-free number with a fake case number instead of a docket number.
Do not call them back.- Caller: Rose and Duncan Associates

- MJG replies to Elizabeth WilsonOnce a summons is posted, you can not buy or talk your way out of it. IF they had a case, they would NOT warn you.
