I received a call from this number and came here to look it up. It is Spectrum. I spoke with a representative and they told me that there were 3 other names associated with my phone number in their account system and that I was fine and more than likely the call was for someone else. They said to disregard the calls. Was very apologetic. Was not rude or nasty to me. Usually when I do get a call from Spectrum it says Spectrum on my caller ID as it is a Spectrum Phone line.

Did you call a known number for Spectrum or was it a rep at this number you spoke with?
This number may or may not be a Spectrum number but, as scammers spoof legitimate numbers all the time, it is wise to never give a random caller personal information. Instead, hang  up and call a known number for them.

Caller ID shows "spectrum" but this is not the spectrum number. Fraud. Listened to me say hello a couple of times, then hung up on me. Creepy. Blocked this number

This is a scam call! Even if you are a Spectrum customer who does owe money, do not talk to anyone at this number. I am a Spectrum customer.  These people call several times a day for the past 2 weeks claiming to be Spectrum. They sound legit, but they are not. I called Spectrum and asked them about this and they said no, that is not their phone number and even if someone owed money, they would not keep calling like this. They would call, but after a couple phone calls, they would send a letter to your home letting you know that if you do not pay by a certain date, then they will shut off your account. This specific phone number is a scam. If you call to make a payment on their automated line, they steal your card info. Do not trust this phone number. They have nothing to do with the real Spectrum.

This is a LEGIT call of sorts from Spectrum. We received a call today asking for another person, and when I told them no one was here by that name they said "Are you sure"? I also got an automated phone call the other day, a day after we got new service, for another person. I did a live chat online with a rep from Spectrum asking if other past customers were still associated with our new number. I also gave her the phone number it came from.The rep fixed the issue. I asked if that was the problem, and she said yes, and I should not be getting anymore calls. My advice is call Spectrum or chat with a rep and ask if there as still past clients associated with your number. There was another person in this thread that had the same issue.

Thanks for your post. I chatted with them this morning and told them about your issue, gave them the name that the rep asked for, and it was the same with us. We got an automated call Saturday for someone else as well. The rep on chat was very nice and said we will not get anymore calls

They say they are spectrum and that your account is past due but I checked online and we are up to date. Definitely a scam or spectrum's service is not up to date. Either way don't give them any credit card info.

Called my cell. phone and when I picked up there was music playing.  Hels on for 30 seconds and no one came on the line. Hung up.

Its Spectrum.  I've paid my bill but they keep calling. Annoying.

Just like the other posters have cited, this number calls, but they do not leave a message.  I answered once, but there was no response.  I could hear background noise, but no one responded.  This makes no sense, why call people and then not answer or leave a message.  Basically, that is harassment or stalking.
