I got this call twice today so far. Attempt to call back to screw with them, but no dice. Computer still works fine. [***]'s a scam.

This number, along with one from Maryland and Washington, call multiple times per day stating that my microsoft computer is infected and will also expire. Usually its a recording, but sometimes its a middle eastern person. Today they have called 1-2 an HOUR. Reported them to do not call complaint line. Ridiculous....

Yep, it's a scam.  Two phone calls to my home and I just had to have some fun.  Calling them back, the guy identified himself as a Microsoft technician, and wanted me to go to www.support31.com (sadly, I didn't have Internet in my home). He showed me the list of stopped services on my computer (which are normal). After 20 minutes of me frustrating him, he offered to send a technician to my home (for $199) to "fix it for me".  After another 10 minutes, he finally said he'd call me back in 10 minutes and hung up. When he called back, he gave me to his supervisor, "Thomas Williams" (the W is pronounced as a V when spoken with an Indian accent), who wanted me to go and purchase a $199 iTunes scratch-off card and call them back at 315-407-4060 and give them the number from the card.  Then the technician will show up within a half an hour (since I didn't have Internet *wink*).

Definite scammer call using a robot voice.  Calls nearly 6 times a day about renewing Microsoft license.  Odd since I only use Macs & Linux.

got bogus call that my "Microsoft license key has been expired"

An individual contacted my mom in regards to her antiviruses being expired and other things. She was told that all of her accounts were locked and that they had already remoted in to her laptop. The individual was advised that she was not savvy enough with computers to allow the updates or anything and that she was going to speak with her daughter for advice. My mom called me at work and let me know what had transpired. She gave me the name of the business/company, which is located overseas, and the number she was to call back.

They must take a break for a couple of weeks. Wanted to keep the comments current and up to date. They called Dec 6, 2016 three times within an two hour window, but only left 2 "urgent" messages though. They are back at it again same call, same message.... It's a scam.

Got the same call as everyone else. My question is, if you call them back and tell them you're on to their scam, do they stop calling, cause I'm getting sick of receiving multiple messages every day.

Probably not. All that will likely do is confirm a working number with someone willing to respond to calls. Your best bet is to block and ignore.

2 messages left saying Microsoft license key expired!! It's a money scam!  I have NO home Christmas mputer! Only iPad iPhone. My computer is at LIBRARY! It's another India scam to steal our money and get card info! I ONLY USE A MSN WEBTV ADDY FROM 2001! Don't fall for this scam hoax! Hang these people and keep them out of our country

Received 6 calls today from automated (indian accented) saying that all services on your computer are suspended. Microsoft license key has expired. ...call to reinstate. (SCAM/Phony phishing attempt).

scam call to fix microsoft key.  Says computer not working needs to be fixed'.  8 times today so far.

left * messages today claiming my Microsoft key has expired. I don't have a Microsoft computer and am on the do not call list.

Same calls.  3 times.  Answered and they wanted me to download software.  COnfirmed they were Microsoft 3 times.

Scammers don't care about the DNC list, especially scammers from other countries such as these.
