The Microsoft scam in a new variation. I have received 15 calls since 8 AM this morning. Since I blocked the number when the calls began yesterday my phone no longer rings when it is this number but the log still shows the calls. Block this number and don't bother answering it. They are scammers. Your Microsoft license did NOT expire and Microsoft would never bother calling you!

Started this morning, receiving every 15 minutes!  Such an obvious scam.  Have call blocker equipment but didn't have time to set it up--will do so for Christmas!  I guess, with that "IRS suing you" scam being broken up in India and the subsequent profile of the success of the scam, it is true that there are people who actually fall for these things, and the scams are very profitable.  Sad!

This number has called 4 times today.  It's a scam regarding Microsoft license expiring.

SCAM! .. Just yell and call them names, they start back at ya ... fun

Called my elderly mother.  I hate these people.

844-308-6817  is a company voicemail stating that "your" WINDOWS Software KEY CODE has EXPIRED, and you need to call ANOTHER 800 number (they provide) to reinstate your software..NOTE: Microsoft OWNS your key code number and they DO NOT expire,..They are yours until cancelled by YOU>

They "scam industry" is humming along, much to my dismay - there must be some money in scamming folks. Well, it puts the whole industry look terrible. Be sure that these people have no scruples! The average user does not know when their license expires or whether they even have a license or where the license is! Is it on the side or bottom of the box?

These horrid people steal! They stain the industry, who can you trust? And I will guarantee you they will be back with another scam.
