I filed a complaint with the FTC

Didnt use my name, but the [***] calling are irritating me.

Threatened to file the necessary paperwork with the local court against me.  Not only have I received this call, but so has my granddaughter who lives in another state and only has a cell phone.  She was so upset she immediately contacted my son (her father) who then called me.  I assured him that I have no problems for anything of this kind and that I had received  the same call at home and now I just got the same call again.

I just received a voice mail stating they were trying to locate me in response to a formal complaint. I tried calling them back, but the phone was giving me a busy signal. I'm glad I read other people's posts to know that this was a scam.

I have been getting these threatening messages for six months now, but now they have been calling my ex wife and ex father in law so I am angry now. How do these pricks get away with this?

Same as above.. But they have been calling two of my friends ... Two days in a row so that's 4 calls within the last two days

Same as everyone else. They are calling my teenage sons phone looking for my husband who hasnt even had a parking ticket in over 20 yrs. Family with 7 kids ages 20 something to toddler range who has time for this BS?! So tired of being hassled. If there really is some urgent court matter that requires my husband get in contact then subpeona us like the usual protocol and stop the nonsense. People really need to call the village in BFE and tell them their idiot got out again. I get a woman and a man both that leave voice mails. One says investigate and take legal matters and the guy says complaint filed blah blah blah. So tired of it!

This phone number called my sister who hasn't seen me in 4 years and lives in a different state stating to have me contact them or I'll be served with court papers to pay a debt. I called 844-365-2865 and told the guy to send me to court and go ahead with serving me paperwork because I pay my bills on time. He said he'll put a note in the system and start the filing and said thank you and hung up.

It is a scam i recieved a call from the same number in regards to my daughter you can launch a formal report claim to the website ic3.Gov if you look on you tube they will show you what happens to these people. Like one lady got a call from this number and got scared so they offered her to get two green dot cards to pay a debt for somthing or other so she did and got scammed for 1,900.00 and her hubby had that money set aside for there daughters wedding the next month. Some people have nothing to do or dont want to work would rather take your hard earned money...Unreal huh?? Sorry this had to happen to you.

They have 3 numbers 8668741829 8447575685 and 8443652865 they are stealing files and trying to collect a debt that i am paying with another company  the are using court as scare tatics. Sam brittany amanda and anne jenkins good luck

Called me too. Been getting calls from several different numbers over the past year. I have NO debt at all!  Haven't had any debt since before 2006. I filed bankruptcy & I moved to the city I'm currently in, in 06. I haven't had debt since I've been here. I pay everything on time that I do have. No loans, no credit cards at all. They threaten court. Said it was a payday loan sent for collection. Whatever. Was kinda worried if maybe I'd forgotten something when I filed bankruptcy in 06. So I checked with all the courts and legal aide and nothing's there. Both advised me that there are scams out there. I called them back to call them on their scam. Said the statue of limitations for debt collection is 6 years in my state, so anything from pre 06 was long expired. So they said they could get me on criminal malicious intent. Then they changed the year they said it was from 2013, they'd said 2005 in the first call. If it was legit why'd they wait over a decade to collect if I owed something? Whatever. You make me want to vomit!
Each time I block the number, a few months later I get a similar call from another number, so I block it too. But then a few months later it happens again. Geez, give it a rest!
What bothers me is they've called both my parents! I hate that! Moms very gullible, and it worries me cause she'll give out info. But I tell her to block them cause they're a scam. I actually feel she thinks I'm dodging something. But I assure her I'm not. I don't need this happening!

Oh too add--- the first time they called last year, she said that someone would be here, at my home, to serve me tomorrow, and the sheriff would be there, and I could be arrested. Wanted my address to "make sure they send the person to the right place." Yeah right! If you have papers for me then you have my address! That's why I called all the courts and legal aide. They had me spooked. I got myself prepared to be arrested. No one ever showed up! It's been about a year since then, still no ones showed up. They said they just got my debt and were giving me the opportunity to take care of it. I was like well I've been in this place with this number since 2006! Why'd it take a decade to try to collect? They had no answer. Kept repeating the script in front of them. It was obvious they had something in front of them with responses on it. I hung up and blocked them. Then called to warn my parents.

SCAM...  I heard it does not help to file a complaint because they don't do anything about it.  Geez!!

These people called my little sister saying that they had a formal complaint against me and wanted to know my whereabouts. They then called me. I answered to see what these people wanted. Well, I ended up panicking and giving them my debit card information. Stupid, I know. Well, after I started thinking about it. They ended up emailing me a "Payment Arrangement" thing and I looked up the supposed PayDay Loan place. They aren't even licensed in my state to conduct business. So let them take me to court, they are the ones in the wrong. Not to mention I was in bankruptcy during this supposed time the loan was taken out. So I cancelled my debit card at the bank and got a new one. When they went to pull the funds off my card this morning of course it was declined. So they called me and I said I wasn't going to pay it and I'd see them in court. They tried saying that I defrauded a bank and had NSFs. So the bank took out this loan on my behalf to cover it....STUPID I am kind of mad I fell for it.
