I've received two unsolicited calls from this number. I get a recorded message saying if I know any information about Leon Cheatham, I'm to call 844-369-0787. I am blocking!!!

Trying to scam personal information

Got a call from unidentified source wanting information about someone.
I didn't answer call.

I just received a call from this same person that I blocked on a different number looking for my daughter. He is using a different last name than the one she has now had for several years. Doesn't say who he is, he just keeps wanting info on her whereabouts. It sounds like a recording to me on this number and the other number I blocked. No info given. I want him to stop!!!!!!!

Got a recorded call about my brother-in-law saying there was a formal complaint filed against him. Seems unlikely and shady.

I just got a call from this number, so used another phone to call them back and when I said I had no idea who I was they hung up, shady, just going to block them

They don't seem to know who their supervisors are, won't give you the company's mailing address, and claim to be based in Charleston, SC but the SC AG has no record of them so you can't file a complaint.

I received the same number: 844-369-0787 about a complaint filed on me.

Scam.   Complaints are filed with either government agencies or courts.   No one files a "complaint" with a debt collector.  SImply ignore and block these calls.

this number called my old office number my husbands cell and my daughters cell and said they had a complaint on me and looking for me.  Sounds like a scam to me.  I told them not to answer this #.

They called my # looking for my husband. I confirmed that he has a big Wee-Knee.

I called this number back, which the person was unavailable, to give them my daughter-in-law's grave and plot location in Oberlin where she was placed May 2, 2008 .

Called once and it was dead air. Same number called back one minute later. I answered to hear a robo-call message. The name they were asking for was unintelligible, but it was a recording. There was so much static that it was impossible to understand anything at all. (I usually don't answer unknown callers but have items for sale on Craigslist, so answered this one.)

FYI: "844" is not an area code to a specific area, but is part of the "800" family of toll-free numbers available to businesses.

oh yea got the same scam/scumbags call. I pretended I was an old lady trying to find the right credit card to send the money kept those fools on the phone for 3 hours....PRICELESS!

Keeps calling about my son.

Just get a cal, from that same number looking for my sister.  the call was a recording.
