My mother got a call stating legal complaint has been filed against me and need my where-a-bouts. She took a meggage and called me with the nubler. I called and they advised me I tool out a payday loan (which I did not, Illeagal in my state) and asked for my SSN, DOB and address. This is a scam do not fall for it and give your personal information out. SMH, I hope no one falls for this scam.

Caller asking if I make an loan request for $10,000.00+ so I say yes, we can I get my funds- they hung!

Same, but I've gotten multiple calls looking for information on a Lorraine Dubay. So annoying!

They just called my sister and left a message looking for me because of a "formal complaint" has been filed.  I have been dealing with these [***] for the last year and every time, it's about a supposed online payday loan I took out and never paid back.  Sorry sweetie, but my state doesn't allow online payday loans and hasn't since 2006 - this loan was supposedly taken out in 2008.  I have filed a report with the state's attorney general and they have assured me it's a scam.  I let this company know that the last they contacted me, and they told me they hoped the attorney general was set to represent me when I went to jail for "defrauding a financial institution".....yea, okay - bring it b*tches!

Allegedly, i owe $766 bucks on a payday loan (ive NEVER had a payday loan because im a homemaker)  and these people are sending the "authorities" to lock me up and throw away the key.. I wonder if i have time to shower before "they come arrest me".. My husband is an attorney so this is pretty hilarious.. This guy argued the law with my husband for 45 minutes about an account that doesn't even belong to me.

I get serval calls a week the caller is always looking for someone that I ever heard of I have told them to take my number from their caller list. This has gone on for months. Can you stop these calls

Called stating that a Brian Darling had a complaint against him. Have NO idea who this person is, who the caller is, or how they got my number.

The person who calls me from this number sounds muffled, they say that I have a complaint against me, they ask me for my last 4 digits of my social security number, when I told them I will not give them my social security over the phone, they said to call the court regarding the complaint and hang up , The caller doesn't tell me their name, or the name of their business,. Hard to understand what they say when they talk.

Received a recorded call saying that there was an Apple icloud breach and I needed to call 844-369-3807 or press 1 to speak to an operator. I confirmed with Apple that they do NOT initiate direct, personal contact with users and that this is a phishing scam and I should hang up immediately.

My sister got 5 calls from this # she just let go to voicemail it said looking for me that a legal complaint against me. This is from coastal finance services. This is a different phone # that I blocked.  Big scam please if anyone knows who I can call to stop these phone calls or contact a agency please send me a message here.

Three calls in less than three weeks. Morons, take the hint.

Scam stating some random credit and number has been compromised. It was sent as a text which asked to call this number.

got a call from someone looking for significant other....all a recording on this end.  How F---ing stupid do these people think we are?  Guess they do not realize if they are looking to collect from someone, they have to send a letter from either them or debtor to person.  Answer to solely get rid of them.  Maybe North Korea can take care of these idiots

Well your screen name aptly describes you.  The debtor is the person who owes the money, so why would they send a letter to themselves?  They don't have to legally send a dunning letter out until 5 days after they have made first contact with the alleged debtor.  Why would another country have to take care of anything when we have government agencies and a law that gives you rights to take care of it?

Got a call from this number today, claiming he's looking for me and if I know of his whereabouts to contact him, the next step is to call the authorities.

I've blocked his number from several different numbers, but he always calls from 844-369-****

This iss the same company that claims you have an IRS debt and they're going to file criminal charges, or they're going to notify the sheriff and you'll be arrested.

This is crminal but I've had no success trying to pursue it.

Just remember, NOBODY will call you and threaten jail over a debt. this isn't  a debt jail country. So ignore any threatening message like this.

FYI mine has always been a recording, made to seem like a real call, with the name injected as a computer voice.
