It's Fingerhut. My bill was due yesterday but I had no internet because of the blizzard.

Hey Guys, this really IS Fingerhut! I'm not sure why they'd call when a person never ordered anything from them, BUT they knew my correct bal and amount due. I suspect some of you have mixed this up with other numbers? OR ELSE, Fingerhut has a crook calling from their customer service?

Why do you care?  Why do you come here if you already know who called?

Stop already because you can be traced and prosecuted.  I do not stoop to your stupidities and scamming schemes...nice try!

they have called three times today the first time I answered they asked for my daughter I said she wasn't available they proceded to begin to tell me her personal business at this point I told them that they are not to discuss her business with anyone other than her and they are now breaking the laws of privacy and I am reporting them. they called a second time and spoke to her she told them when they would get paid even though her bill was not late yet. she then proceeded to tell them that her personal business was not to be discussed with anyone else. they hung up. they now just called again and I did not pick it up. I used to deal with them and stopped when the merchandise I got from them broke down within a month and they refused to replace it. I then refused to pay them. 20 years later someone tried to get that money again I told them the statute of limitations was way over and they could not harass me and they left me alone now.

My number is registered with "Do not call" registry.  Get multiple calls/day from this number.  The Voice Mail number is different from the caller number,  VM message is always left immediately following the call from this number and identifies as "Fingerhut".

I keep getting calls from this phone number but I won't answer!

I've been getting these calls since December and even though I've blocked them on my phone, they're still annoying because the phone rings once before disconnecting. Looking at some of the strangely worded messages on this board and others like it, I suspected that these calls do not actually come from Fingerhut at all, and that some shady competitor is trying to sabotage them with hired trolls who claim they DO have an outstanding balance. Today I contacted Fingerhut via chat on their website and got confirmation that this number does NOT come from them. The rep also found no account under my name and offered to confirm that I had no account if I would provide my phone number, but I opted not to do that because I thought then I might get calls from them for real. :) I have a screenshot of the chat but unfortunately I can't post the image here. So here's the full text of the conversation:

[Me:] Since December 2015 I have received numerous calls from 1-844-485-3204 claiming to be from Fingerhut and that I have an outstanding balance. I have never done business with Fingerhut and certainly do not have an outstanding balance. Can you confirm if that phone number is in fact from Fingerhut or an authorized collection agency? 9:45 AM

[Fingerhut CS rep Stephani:] I am happy to help.  One moment please. 9:46 AM

[Stephani:] I do apologize I am not showing this is a number from  Fingerhut.  Also I am not pulling up any account with your name that is an open account.  If you would like to supply your phone number I can make sure there is not an account attached to it. 9:49 AM

Yes, its Fingerhut calling.  My bill was due on the 1st as well and its only the 5th and they have been calling non-stop last 2-3 days.  RIDICULIOUS!

answered phone, male with thick foreign accent said he was with Fingerhut.  I said "are you sure?  Two days ago you called and said you were the FBI" For some reason he chose to hang up on me 8-)

This is fingerhut calling. I am three days late also on my bill and my phone has been ringing 5-6 times per day.Hope this helps someone-- I'm getting pretty angry with them.

This isn't fingerhut, it's just a coincidence if you do use fingerhut. Fingerhut had my old phone number and called my new one. which doesn't make sense

Thanks you fingerhut debt  collectors called me three times in one day  from 844-485-3204  be careful when ordering from them thy adverise low payments, but the monthly payments go sky high becus of the interest.   I fell behind on payments becus they got to high.  but as I try to get it together I dont want them to call me three times a day.
