We don't recommend a particular call blocker since that is against the TOS.  I have one of the free ones and it works great.  They do not block text messages however.

Said final notice, they are going to sue.  These scammers call at all hours, even before 7 am this morning!

The recorded message of a female voice, identifying herself as Nicky Johnson, was annoying:  very poor connection, strong together words trying to sound like some legal authority, threatening me with the "legal allegations".  And she did not say who this message was for!  She did mention Canada Revenue Agency.  I would guess that CRA can create better messages than this, and furthermore, they would speak to me in person, calling me by name, telling me which account is in question, etc.

I have text to voice-mail and they were trying the "old IRS" scam - - since I did get a text from the voicemail I will let everyone read the exact verbage (understanding that the IRS does NOT CALL for collections - they send you a letter!):

"This is officer from internal revenue services. We have been trying to reach you. This call is in this is your final notice call from internal revenue services. The reason of the call is to inform you that we have find a lawsuit against you. For more information call immediately our toll free number 844-490-0728. I repeat 844-490-0728."
