Yep, Christine called my hubby's# the morning after I happened to have gone onto the VA.gov site which also directed me to ID.me.  That site had all government website options which I backed out of - I wasn't looking for that.  I'm sure they are fishing as a result of my web search.
As soon as I heard the call came from  "National" as a company name I realized it was a scammer.  I will block!

You went to the official Veterans Administration website which directs you to ID.me for you to sign in and you got scared?  Now you think that you got this call because you think that they are spying on you through your web browser?

I received a call from Christine today! Next time I will answer and I will deal with Christine! She is going to be very sorry she called my number! I am tired of these BS calls.

"I will deal with Christine!"  Ooo, scary! What are you going to do? Curse at her? Call her names? Blow a whistle? I hope not the latter because all you'll end up doing is harming your own hearing since modern phones don't transmit sounds at harmful levels.

Exactly the same for me, called from a local number, and wanted me to respond to the 844 #
Not on SS, not on Unemployment, not on disability.  Just trying to prey on anyone they can catch.  Need to be arrested!!!

I have had 10 spam phone calls today from various phone numbers within my area code.  One left a voicemail from Christine at National Disability wanting me to call 844-690-8191 to help with my SSI disability claim.  Don't think so. Do they not understand that if I didn't think they were scammers before, I surely do after 10 calls in one day.

Left messages on my answering machine..exact same verbiage same name scam I'm sure!

I am receiving this same call.  Multiple times a week.  I even answered it one time and advised them to remove my number.  I am not old enough nor disabled so I am not interested.  Yet they still call.

This is the exact call I got.  So fed up with it.

Same message with Christine as the caller's name.  National Disability.  It is a scam.

Several calls from 844-690-8191 messages from Christine as well telling me it is urgent that my disability claim is ready to go but she has questions must call immediately! I'm so glad I read this post because I actually am interested in applying and I might have actually fell for this one thanks guys!

No, the DNC list does EXACTLY what it was created to do. It tells legitimate telemarketers not to call you. It doesn't block unwanted calls & scammers such as this simply ignore it.

Christina called from National Disability about Social Security benefits

Christine called me twice and when I called back I let them know i didn't apply and I gave him a piece of my mind.  Oh and it was recorded so I am sure they deleted that call.

Same as a lot of others reported:
“Hi this is Christine from national disability I'm calling because you had inquired about applying for monthly Social Security disability benefits now if you can call me back as soon as you can at 844-690-8191 we can get started on your application for monthly disability money now if you're already receiving Social Security benefits please feel free to ignore this call this isn't something you need to worry about but if you did want to apply for Social Security disability benefits this is a time sensitive matter and fast action is required for these types of benefits so if you could please call us back as soon as you can and again the name is Christine from national disability and where at 844-690-8191 thanks have a great day…”
