Just got an aggressive call from a Brad Williams. He had OLD mailing information and false payday loan information. Said I owe $647.34 and some company was taking me to court.  I've never had a payday loan EVER in my life.

Please beware that this is a fake company!

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

I received a call yesterday from an Unknown Number.  I didn't answer the call but the caller left a voice mail.  He claimed he was Ted Williams stating that he was a "process server" from Maricopa County and that he was in the process of serving me with a Notice of Intent to Appear in Court at an address I'd never heard of.  The number he told me to call was for CSG 844- 704-4446.

Received a message from a Mandy Perell claiming my file was sent to her office for a final legal review on my case, that it's in regards to documentation being filed against me. She said something about my failing to respond to something sent to me and a F-16 form is being sent to my employer. She said if I haven't received anything in the mail I still have a chance to resolved it by calling them at 877-371-2209. Sounds like a scam.

UPS stores rent mailboxes.  It is a favorite of these outfits so that they don't have to reveal that they are working from their kitchen table.

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Everything else you need to know follows including at least two agencies where you should report their criminal activities.

BBB page gives them an F rating with 27 complaints and 3 negative reviews, a pattern to the complaints, and lists their address as a UPS store:

Received a call from 'Brad Williams' a licensed process server from Gwinnett County, GA in January from a blocked number. Said he was trying to contact me to take care of bad debts. I told him to send me a debt validation letter but he said he wouldn't do that nor would he send me his company's address. He simply told me he worked for CSG and someone would be at my home tomorrow to serve me. I was at home the next day at 10am with my ID ready and no one showed up. I considered the matter closed and forgot about it.

Today, March 8, 2018, he called me again but not from a blocked number. Said his name was "Ted Williams" following up with a debt from Certegy Check Services. He told me that Certegy would be taking me to court unless I paid the debt of $198.00. He told me his office is now "In New York". Would not provide company info. Gave me a case number. If you call the number back it is Mr. Williams on the voicemail. He appears to run the company himself. Brad goes by Ted among other names and has a history of working in several states as a process server, notably Arizona in Maricopa County.
