- Robert| 4 repliesRecieved a call from Revenue Reporting Services. Figured just another collection agency. Ignored them for a few weeks. Then I got served from an attorney like 4 blocks from my house. Went down there to speak with him, he could not even talk to me about the case gave me his clients number. The above number and I called them, now I have to pay then my debt, a filing fee from the court and 2 hours of his fees $375 (he cut me a break)cause that what he worked on it. Otherwise I had my court date and I have no leg to stand on I signed the contract. I will never get another loan from those payday sharks.

- JayReceived message on home answering machine at 7:06 PM-EDT, June 1, 2009 from a person identified as John Mathews with Revenue Reporting Services. Vague message left and he referred to a case number. Sounds suspicious since I'm not involved in a lawsuit. Also, have received nothing in writing from this company.
- andy| 2 repliesgot a call from these people too. i thought they were a scam too so i asked for something in writing and they sent me a letter in the mail stating that i had a debt from an old loan i took out. they said that it was gonna go to court if i didnt set up a payment plan so i took the letter to my lawyer and he said i should start paying on it cause they can legally take me to court over it. so i called them back and set up. i was gonna blow it off but my lawyer said it would be a huge headache if it went to court and it would cost alot more money. i set up but i cant tell everyone else what to do. i only did it cause my lawyer told me to...good luck
- payday suckerI got a call from these people and they told me about a debt I owed I didn't believe them and got the run around from some guy then spoke with a kristel spencer who waived my filing fee and settled me in full for a great price for 3 years later with all the interest, totally legit. they improved my credit and everything for me. don't ever take out payday loans it bites you in the [***]

- Not Me 7/17/09A female called regarding a person who does not live at my address, caller got nasty with me when I said I would not take any messages to have the person they were calling about call them, as I hinted that I might know that person. Told me a private investigator gave them my number, the person they were looking for never lived at my address and has never had access to my number, can a collection agency disclose personal financial info to a stranger?

- K| 1 replyGot a call Monday night from a Cory Vitari. He left me a message with a case number asking for a call back. I did a little online research, i even called them back unknown & got their address. They're a pre-litigation office...spoke to an attorney buddy of mine today. I had taken out a payday loan from Advanced America a few years back & the acct. i used to repay the loan closed before i payed it back....long story short, my attorney friend said they have every right to take me to court over unpaid loans. Sucks to be me 'cause i forgot about the whole thing and thought i was in the clear....but my friend said better to settle outside of court now 'cause they'll be adding attorney fees plus whatever else courts charge. I called him back, he was alright (for a collector) He set me up on a payment plan so its not so bad....my advice. DONT TAKE OUT PAYDAY LOANS!!! I'm glad this guy called me tho...not some other nasty company. Unfortunatley they're legit.

- Lorraine| 2 repliesI received a call from Shelby Gregory, who clamed she works for "Revenue Reporting Services." She asked for my daughter. I told her she was at work and couldn't take calls. She asked me to take a message. I have no idea how she got my number. I questioned her in what regard was the calling my daughter. She said it was pre-litigation. I asked her for what and she said my daughter owed money. I asked her from whom and she said she couldn't discuss it with me. She also said this was the last stop before she would have to go to court. I stated that it was strange to have no previous notice. It did not make sense to me. I called the number she gave me: (888) 214-8424 to ask her how she got my number. The telephone was answered by a machine, which I was unable to understand. I would like this company investigated. It sounds to me like an illegal enterprise.

- MasterTechReceived a call from this number today(888) 214-8424 (caller: Revenue Reporting Services) asking for someone who does not (and never has) lived at my home (this person may have had our phone number over 12 years ago or just gave the first number that popped into his\her head). They left a very clear (but fast) message on the voice mail asking that the person in question return their call at 888-214-8424 and speak with Ms. Jordan. The message was polite and concise but gave enough information that if it ever was taken to court they would be in serious trouble for divulging personal and private information to a third party.
Well to make a long story short I called the toll free number (from my office) and advised them that there was no person by that name at the house (and never had been at this house) and that we had had this phone number for over 12 years and they (Revenue Reporting Services) told me that they would remove our number from their data base and that we would not be calling us again. Very polite, helpful and agreeable. Wish all debt collection companies were this polite.- Caller: Revenue Reporting Services

- Revenue Reporting Service SucksFrom reading these post I have to wonder if ALL these responses are LEGIT. It seems to me that "trustworthy source" really knows a lot about this company to the point where I think he actually works there. So I asked one of my business partners to do some research on this so call collection company. To my surprise the company's name is not even registered with Department of State Division of Corporations. There are 15 business listed at this building but not Revenue Reporting Services. People, I would be very careful with this so call company. Their web PAGE(only one) looks like a toddler created it.
- trustworthy source| 4 replieslol. believe what you want. ill be the one laughing when you dont take the help being offered by them and in turn end up in court with double the fines ;)
