Exact same call today... Asked who looking for and he rattled off some name.  Told him wrong number.  He said "you don't know him?" I Said no... I've had this number for over 20 yrs.  he proceeded to tell me he "found that hard to believe because I didn't even sound 21". Told him I didn't care what he believed that he had wrong number and I hung up.  Seriously?  I'm in my 50's!  Stupid scammers!  Get a friggin real job and make an honest living like the rest of us!

I get calls from these idiots as well.  I have never ever had a payday loan so apparently they are calling for someone else with a last name like mine as I have a common name..   I have told them to stop calling and posing as process servers and lawyers..   when you confront them they get even nastier..   They also look into public records and use that as bait saying they know what kind of car you own and by law can take that car away to repay a debt...  all of this is illegal and their company and others like them need to be shut down..   how they get cell phone numbers is beyond me..  

I got this same message on my phone today.  I blocked them.  I've been getting a large number of this sort of call lately.  It makes me wonder about my carrier since I only recently switched companies.  I never had this issue with other providers and I've had this number since 2001.

I got that call today.  Lately, I have heard of scammers calling from other countries using US phone listings and you miss the call and call them back....You are automatically charged $20 for calling them back, they now have a way to use your phone number and make more calls costing you more and for every minute you are on the phone, you are billed $ 5 or 6 dollars per minute.  Telephone scammers can be traced by the City, State or Federal government.  In my case, I am a Government person sitting home just waiting on a new problem to egg me on.  I am home due to surgery and can really use this distraction.  If the person sees this note, just know that I am all over it.

Got same message today

I got the same call, and was so confused. Unfortunately I tried calling the number left. Now what do I do?

I JUST got a call ...where they left NO v mail...... so I called it back thinking it was something diff..got a guy who spoke good English....( never happens) and he said I had a payday loan from 8/2009!!!  I have not taken out a payday loan since , god, probably 2005 ....this man INSISTED "pay day " loans didnt exist then ..LOL  whatever!    he is WRONG!!!! I NEVER took a loan out then ...total scam here! I too have  been getting calls wkly since las fall for me or my hubby on false scamming payday loan crap   threatening to "arrest us"  etc...  and every time I state their scam , or ask to mail me docs proving so of any debt, they say "you have anice day, and hang up " HA  Because THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!!

Got a call from this number today and said he was at my house to serve papers, but I was not home to please call 844-704-5171 to straighten this problem out. His name was Jordon Marx process server. The funny thing is I was home all morning and I am still home. I also got a e-mail from someone else and said that if I didn't call them that they are having a officer come to my house at 11:00 to get me.

"Criminal civil charges"?  Debt (if there really is a debt) is a civil matter, never criminal - it cannot be both!

Jordan Marx is a con artist scum bag....  he needs to be stopped from calling and threatening people..  Someone stop this moron and his bogus lies.   his phone number is 844-704-5171...    

Got the call from 844-704-5171 second time on my office voice mail. Called back and the guy on the phone sounded really intimidating asking me for my phone number. I asked for the company name and he hanged up on me.
