Called at 9pm on a sunday night wanting to conduct a 30 minute survey

Called and called again. Noise and nuisance. That's all they are!

We do not answer unknown numbers, and because most of the calls we get on our landline nowadays are from telemarketers, my answering machine plays a rather snarky message about leaving a message "if you are NOT a telemarketer." This call went to my answering machine, and after my message played, we got an unending series of very loud, very annoying beeps. Has this happened to anyone? Is this just a technology glitch, or are the low-lifes on the other end doing it purposely?

More and more these scam calls are getting new area codes and numbers by the day

They called at 9:36p last night, past allowed calling time.  Almost answered as I thought it might be cable company tech I had been working with earlier but resisted.  They didn't leave a message.  Caller ID read "TOLL FREE CALL".

Called trying to sell lubricants and ointments, lotions and salves.
Good thing burt reynolds answered, i would have squealed like a pig.

They call and hang up when I answer. Tired of them calling

why would they call me in arizona? they called after 8:30 pm and left no message. i never call anyone after 8:00 pm, i think it's rude. i am also on the 'no call' list, doesn't seem to matter, tho.

Your number being on the do not call list does not matter. This is a researching firm, not a telemarketer. Like it or not, they are not subject to the federal do not call list because they are not telemarketers. You must state to them on the phone you want to be added to the DNC list. Please do research before posting.
