Wouldn't hold my breath on that panning out. For all anyone knows, doing that may be an open invitation to be flooded with spam and junk calls. What's more is unknown pests you've had nothing to do with may now have personal information as well.

Getting unwanted calls

Just called at 9:15pm. Even pollsters aren't allowed to call after 9:00.

I just received a call at 8.51 pm tonight from the fine folks at Promark.

Thanks to my new buddy, "Blocky", their number is now permanently blocked. Thanks, "Blocky"! You're awesome! It's the best $39 investment I've ever made. And if Promark calls me back using a different telephone number, my new buddy "Blocky" will block that one, too! Take THAT! heh, heh, heh...

Scam

Curious as the caller asked to do a survey in the parish thats listed on my cell account bill but not the parish i live in so makes me wonder if verizon is selling customer info???

This caller I'd showed up on my landline at 2110, illegal to call me after 2100. I picked up the phone and screamed at them to quit f'n calling me cos I am NOT f,n intersted and I pay for a phone to send and receive calls I WANT. By the way, the law states that NO business, NO pollster, No Marketer, in short NOONE can call you without your explicit consent if their call causes you to be charged, pausing for their call.

Called, no message. called back from land line & claim they are a research survey firm. Didn't need to hear anymore. May or may not be a real company....

Survey about heart disease. Wanna bet it ends with a request for a "donation" to the scam artist running the survey. I did not stick around for it.

Well used telemarketing number. It was auto-blocked.

Called at 10:00 PM!  Don't know what they wanted as I could not understand them and I told them not to call back as they should not be calling at 10:00 PM!

called 4 times yesterday, the last one was at 9:20 pm. Makes me think the company must be a scam if they are calling that late.

Claimed to be a political research survey.  I cooperated to a degree, BUT provided NO specific details in case they delving for personal information that I would NEVER provide.  I usually do NOT let myself be interviewed, and again, never provide personal information including name etc.

Called me in Texas.  No message.
