This number has been calling me quite frequently since the 4th of this month.

They claim to be Astra Business Services and they want to discuss business personal matters. That's all I got out of them. They wanted to confirm who I was, like asking from my SSN and address.....yeah, no thanks.

Most likely this group.

This people keep calling looking for a deborah nelson i had this number for almost 5 years they are a collection agency.

Calls 2 -3 times a month asking for a Carlin and every single time I tell the AS$HOLE there is no Carlin here ...never has been ...never will be!

You could put an end to that by blocking this number.

Yep....jus another one o them bottom feeders....like mud catfish...slimey, stinky, ugly....tryin to collect on a supposed debt settle 10 years ago. Guess they can't get a real job.....like a BULLY in the neighborhood, tryin to squeeze the little guy

Called at night.  Asked me what I was wearing...heavy breathing, then some strange grunting, then he hung up.

Called, verified last four of social, so I listened.  It was over a debt that went into collections 12 years ago, not sure it is even mine (kids/ex), asked if they were aware of statute of limitations in my state,  She said yes, but if I started making payments I would no longer receive calls.  If not, they will give it to another agency and I will still get calls.  So?  Total bottom feeders; could barely understand rep.  DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE STRESS YOU ORE TALK YOU INTO DOING ANYTHING.  Make sure you know your rights,

I just experience the same thing in. I wouldn't confirm the last four digits of my social.He would not provide the reason for the telephone call and then I stated to him them do not call this number again.

My experience was truly stupid, first of all there are calling about a credit matter from 10 yrs ago, from a car I owned that was stolen and then was found abandoned 2 months later with a blown head, The police impounded it and gave me back the plates which I turned to DMV.  Now 10 yrs later some India sounding person calls out of the blue and says that I owe $5756.00 for the car which was already charged off by the company we bought the car thru because of what had happened. Now this guy from Astra offers to drop it down to $1650 but I need to pay half now, he admits they bought as a charged off debt, which they are trying to make me pay for now . I told him where was financially and he didn't want to hear that. The guy doesn't have even have the correct address. Since a accident in 2009 I have been homebound due to my injuries, we have not received a single document from Astra or anyone regarding the debt that is not a debt.  Be aware of who your talking to.

I have received several calls from them, all hours of the day an they call any day. I've never answered them an will never answer them... they're bogus trying to collect on debts that have been dismissed... I have them blocked.

This number call me this morning 1-844-789-2129. About some collection debt since 12 years.

They called me this morning saying it was a private matter and wouldn’t go into any details. So, I notified him that “this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes”. I then asked how I could help him and I needed to inform him that any information HE gave ME would be used for my own collection purposes. Then I asked him for his own choice of payment. I threw him for a loop, turned the tides on him, and he got all flustered and hung up on me.

asked to confirm the  last 4 of my social security  no...told him no.

This number called my 15 year old son.  I asked for the number to be removed from their calling list.   The caller became very vulgar with me after I said this was a minors phone number.  And if they didn't remove it the law would be called.
