Received a call from World Wide Notification Services asking me to call them back regarding a car I won.  Straight SCAM!  I didn't call them back.

I've stated nothing but facts. Companies like yours do buy white page leads so you can spend all day harassing hard working people like my husband and I to come out to these travel clubs and timeshare presentations. I do understand that word of mouth promotion works better than commercial ads but you failed to answer me why your company has to lie saying I filled out an entry form, my cousin filled out one and a family friend (that just so happens to have been disabled over 21 years)  filled out one. It's all a guessing game where youre reading from a pitch sheet and since you all are good liars you know every rebuttal word for word to give everyone. So are you saying you don't buy leads or do white pages? Are you saying you dont train your workers to force people that never filled out [***] to go to these events? Are you also implying that you dont change your number every time something truthful is written about you? I know all the answers to all those questions. There is no further research I need to do, you people are obvious and sad.

Give it up scammer/scummer.  We can smell your type a mile away, perhaps you should change your deoderant type or put some one for crying out loud.  There are many more of us than there are of you so you may as well just forget about trying to fool us or anyone else on this thread.  We got your number dead to rights and you will fail to scam anyone here just as you have failed to convince anyone that you are anything more than a scum sucking frog.

Your description of how Caller ID works is a lie. VOIP users can update, change or spoof their Caller ID instantly.

I noticed that your earlier lie on this subject claimed that the "update" takes 30 days but now you've changed it to 60 days. Obviously this is because it's been more than 30 days since you started and you have to try to explain it away somehow.

I expect in another 30 days you'll be claiming the "update" takes 90 days to take effect.

You'll notice that "Juan's" company is so honest and trustworthy he's afraid to tell us their name, address or web site... or give us any other identifying information.

The FTC disagrees with Juan's talkoff script. No doubt the "prize" offer is a lure to sit through a sales presentation for a timeshare or a travel package. Both direct AND INDIRECT sales calls are covered by the Telemarketing Sales Rule. Call targets likely have cause to sue for TCPA violations.

Thanks for admitting to your call volume. Time for the FTC to throw another dragnet.

I got a call from 708-506-3102, my CID read FESTIVA. I did my research thoroughly. Festiva is under litigation for charging exorbitant prices for timeshares that they never deliver. Festiva is known as a "Crimeshare" resort. Real entry prizes are sent to you by legitimate companies and dont ask you to pick them up. This is a company that earns its money by leading sheep to the slaughterhouse. If "Juan" thinks his company is clean because they supposedly "just call to inform people", then he is sadly mistaken. Him and his company are no better than the people who shipped the slaves to be sold in America or the countries that turned the Jews over to Hitler. Yeah, I got you and your number. You can dispute what I say until you are blue in the face. Bad idea calling a Federal Criminal Investigator. Should have done your research on my name before calling. As to your spiel about me entering anything or a family member/friend doing it, I call SHENANIGANS! I was overseas for 2 years and my family isn't over here. Now, go be a nice criminal accomplice and stick to trying to scam old people or taking candy from babies.

Like many others, I received a call from Juan.  I was so pumped - a new car without having to play and price-and-game!  But it appears as if this is a scam.  I found another site where a user received the same call, and this user reported that he was told he needed to pay $600 in taxes and fees to receive the car.   I'm guessing he declined but he felt it was a scam.

Got one from Dimitri at Worldwide Notification Services. Came from 773-639-2399. Left me the number to call:

    18442734600 ext 119

I know Juan insists it's not a scam but my registry on Do Not Call means I don't want to be called. Just blocked them on my phone.

Would love to know what business sold them my info so I can cease doing business with them - permanently.

Also received a call from Lavale 844-273-4600 X132 -- same info -- won a new car or one of the top four prizes.  However my CID had the number 773-639-2399 which was also reported here.  Too skeptic to want to waste my time calling them back.

I received a call from a Tammy at Worldwide notification services saying I had entered a car promotion 12-18 months ago and they were aware of my do not call status that I should not ignore this call and congratulations on winning one of four top prizes.  CID showed the number as Breast Cancer S also a scam company. They left the 1-844 phone number to return their call. I don't think so!!!

I received one of these calls, and answered it towards the end of the recording.  The number on the caller ID says it's from 773-639-2399.  I asked them what contest I had entered, since I live about 2 -3 hours away from the area I would have to go to pick up the prize.  I told them I'd never been to this particular town, and hadn't entered anything there.  She said I could have entered in a number of different ways, in other places, too.  She said we would need to show up with a couple types of identification and a credit card...that they would never leave our hands and would only be for identification.  And, if we didn't have a credit card that would mean we don't travel anyway....that part really set off warning bells, in my opinion.  She said to arrive 10 minutes early, or we could get locked out.  And, that the whole presentation of the prizes would take about 120 minutes.   Anyway, the whole dialog pretty well went the same as everyone else has stated.  She also gave me a claim number, address, and directions to get there.  (I was wondering if they're giving everyone the same claim number, too?  My claim number is TNC2051.)  I told her my husband was going to say this is a scam, and she assured me it wasn't.  But, I guess we will never know (smile), since I don't plan on going anyway.  Just don't trust the whole thing.  We too are on the Do Not Call list, but we get a LOT of calls...so that doesn't seem to be working out really well.
