Got a text saying debit card exactly as stated above from everyone else except they're claiming to be SEFCU.  I don't even use them...

Absolutely a scam! Got the same message about a credit union. Don't call the number that they provide.

Ditto. Said it was SEFCU.

So tired of this crap.  I got the same text but stating it was from SEFCU:

SEFCU Debit Card Lock!  Member: 518XXXXXXX. Urgent CALL : (844) 875-7029

Same type of text but had the name of my bank- not chase

Just got same message except from SEFCU. I don't even have an account with them.

Got text re bank acct....no issues going on...area code is from Deputy Minnesota....this a scam....don't call....call your own bank's customer service if you're concerned and to verify.

Got same text 2 times within 5 mins claiming to be from SEFCU. Curious if anyone else used their card today at Target or Marshalls?

I just received a text telling
Me my credit card was locked with my phone number. It is a scam! When is our government going to do something about these calls?

I received a call from 844-875-7029 stating that my debit card was locked. I was instructed to enter my debit card number to unlock.

Got a message from this same number 844-875-7029 from SEFCU.  However I don't even have a sefcu account.  I googled that number and found this page.

Just received this text.  Tried to use my card at Target and it was declined twice.  Called SEFCU and they said account was fine.  Used it 20 minutes later at Fresh Market with no issues.  I think Target got hacked again.

Just got  a text from 844-233-5414 stating that my debit card was locked and to call 844-875-7029. It is a scam to get your card information. Do not fall for this. An elderly or naive person could be very vulnerable to these parasite scam artists.

Got text saying that my SEFCU account was locked because of fraudulent use. I happened to have used the card more than usual that day. I called the Department that locks the card when stolen or lost that I've used in past and they said that my card was still active. Please,never respond to these text. Google the number and you will see the number is bogus

Received a text message my SEFCU debit card was locked. I have no debit cards nor a SEFCU account

My wife received the following text about 8pm this evening:
SEFCU Debit Card Lock! Menber: (cell number). Urgent Call: (844) 875-7029
Neither my wife nor I have an account with SEFCU. Smells like a SCAM!
